and when that happens, this game will go ftp. I am sorry, but I am sick, and tired of people bashing people who are just trying to give constructive feedback so the game can improve. I want this game to be a success. Everyone on the forums, customer support, and reddit wants it to be, but when players are blind this game have problems and use the ''get out of here'' attitude, that is a turn off.

The majority of the people complaining on the New Player Questions forums aren't doing this.

Constructive feedback would be giving it to the developers straight through the client. Not trying to blast the company and incite the people who support or defend it.

DEAR ''IF YOU DON'T LIKE THIS GAME, LEAVE'' PEOPLE, DON'T WORRY, WE WILL and when that happens, this game will go ftp.
    Lets find out.

We can't miss you until you're gone. Stop threatening to leave and just leave already.
I am sorry, but I am sick, and tired of people bashing people who are just trying to give constructive feedback so the game can improve.
Threatening to leave is not constructive feedback. It is a transparent (and LOL) attempt to blackmail Zenimax

As a customer, I personally would rather see this game fo FTP before caving in to the blackmail attempts from a tiny minority.

So go ahead and hold your breath. We are calling your bluff.

Free speech does not include the requirement that others agree with what you say. Yes, there are areas where the game could be better (my hobbyhorse is more inventory space, especially for crafting.) No, not all criticisms are equally valid and not all are made in good faith.

Its really not a fanboy issue. Why i get annoyed when people cry on the forums about how "bad" the game is they are either trolling or looking for attention. We don't care that your making a big deal about leaving. You and the other very small percentage of people who will quit this game (And rightly so, if you don't enjoy it Don't play it) do not make up the bolstering numbers you think you do. If the TESO team was seeing damaging numbers or predicted a decline we would see action. Another reason we don't care is that the game is still in its infancy. Many people didn't experience beta, they haven't seen the improvements leading up to release.

    TL;DR:
We dont care if your going to pre-emptivley leave the game and make a thread begging for attention. A true gamer would leave their feedback in the appropriate forum, and help fix the issues instead of:
"I demand an auction house or i'll quit!"
    "I expect a bugless launch, I quit!"
"I demand better PvP or i'll quit!"
From the millions, i am assuming, of dollars this game has generated you and your friends combined $250 is a meere drop in the bucket. Thats why i get annoyed.

There is constructive feedback stating what an individual feels is wrong with the game, and possibly even suggestions for improvement.

Then there is threatening, whining, "I am leaving because this sux", "the game is doomed" etc.......

More of the former and less of the latter would be a good thing.

I tell people to leave if they aren't having fun with the game.. cause honestly.. complaining (and I'm talking not constructive complaining here.. the ranting "this game is going F2P in a few months if this feature isn't included" stuff) about what you want in the forums isn't gonna do a whole lot. If you're really unhappy with the game, why would you continue to pay money for it? I sure wouldn't myself.. and as others have mentioned, the only way Zeni will likely change things is if they see a chunk of people leaving cause of one feature or whatever. So if you -really- care that much about one thing, and that thing is destroying your game experience, yeah.. you're probably going to make more of an impact if you leave rather than yell on the forums (I'd also suggest the feedback feature in game).

People like the OP also tend to throw the word Fanboy around a lot, and insult anyone defending the game at all. As hard as it may be to believe, there are a lot of us who actually -like- the game's current core features, so we aren't going to want those to go away. Kind of a no-brainer that we'd argue against it getting changed if we like it as is, and has nothing to do with blind defense, but rather defense of what we think is fun. I've not seen anyone saying bugs shouldn't get fixed, or claiming that there are no bugs in the game at all.. so saying people are blindly defending a game doesn't really hold any water. Most of us recognize that it has issues, but we also recognize that Zeni is actively fixing issues with two patches every week, and we enjoy the game for what it is otherwise.

Personally, I've ran into nothing game breaking. None of my friends or guildmates have either (or at least they haven't complained about such while I was online), so obviously my personal opinion of the game is going to be better than someone who does have a quest that's blocking progress somehow. I've also seen people get annoyed, hugely so, over not getting to complete a side quest immediately, and claim that those are game breaking. I have more patience than that, realize I'm a bit ahead of the majority of players for leveling, and that they're likely going to be focusing on the problems the majority hits rather than the few of us who either power level or have a ton of time (I'm the second). I've also been through my fair share of MMO launches, and single player requiring online game launches.. so my view of game breaking may be different from someone who usually picks something up a month or two in. An optional something that I don't have to complete or use is not game breaking to me.. not being able to log in at all certainly is.

Another reason "fanboys" don't take complainers seriously, is because most of them don't know how to *** read. Just look at the "Customer Support" section. How many of the threads are about the EXACT same thing? Probably over half of them.

These kind of bye bye threads don't help anyone but I agree with the sentiment about the people telling people to leave.

This forum could absolutely be just swapped over from the SWTOR forums. It was full of the same type of people saying how great it would be when paying customers that felt let down by the quality of the game left..

    Look where that got them.

It could be swapped out with literally any forum. You cherry picked a game that went F2P quickly. The same stuff was said in the Rift forums at release (that it'd be F2P in a few months), and in the FFXIV: ARR forums, and even WoW forums have people posting complaints and saying WoW will go F2P. Forums are basically just a bunch of negativity.. and they all house the same predictions of F2Pness.

Nah, nothing like the entitled types that post insults and the like here. This game has serious problems, just like SWTOR had and people that dared to speak up were *** on by other forum members and told to get out.

They did and there you go. SWTOR is the shining example of how to produce a massive mmo with a built in user base and get it completely wrong.

    hehe , exactly!

And SWTOR is just one MMO , believe me , this happens everytime , and yet , most games do go F2P while fans always defend it is all alright and haters should just leave , the game does not need them ...

Well , to be fair , to the people that would rather have it F2P , than to listen , then this is a perfectly valid course of action , which works quite well even.

Im quite sure the devs do listen , and then make their own mind about each big suggestion/problem.

Yeah, the FDF(Fanboi Defense Force) are pretty dumb if they think they are doing the game any favours by trying to impede any discourse about the game.

They will continue to put their blinders one and let ZOS *** on their heads and tell them it's raining.

I like the game, and I do agree with you, discourse is what really helps ZoM and Beth to make progress and make the game attracting more people. Just blindly saying "everything is great" won't really help anything.

If that's what you want to believe then alright. I literally see the exact same thing going on in the Wildstar forums currently, and saw the exact same thing in the FFXIV:ARR forums not even a year ago. But hey, ESO is a special snowflake and all.

I never mind when people constructively criticize games I play, it is important to improve the product.

When people start posting how the game is sh*t and Zenimax has screwed up and this is broken and that is unbalanced blah blah blah that's when I throw out the "OK BYE" because chances are in order for the game to meet those peoples standards it would have to be a different game.

There is a difference between constructive criticism and the crap spewed forth from internet people who just want to spew crap. Unfortunately the crap spewing is way more prevalent than not.

I hope they do address some of the glaring issues mentioned in constructive feedback, if they can even see it for the filth.

I think you might be right here. As i already stated in another thread: I started in a guild with 25 members. 3 are still playing. The rest has left, mostly because of phasing issues in Quests, storyline bosses not being groupable and stopping their progress and some of them cause of the quest bugs.

It's quite ironic really: a lot of people seem to feel that their criticism is being shouted down, but they automatically dismiss and insult everyone who disagrees with them. Perhaps they believe that their opinion must be the only correct one, so any argument against it is obviously fanboys wanting to 'suppress the truth', rather than just a legitimate difference of opinion.

I think we need a new corollary to Godwin's Law: anyone who accuses someone of being a 'fanboy' in an internet forum has lost the argument.

The problem I have with posts like yours is that they sound overly dramatic. Let's face it, there is no "we" collective you can speak for. You have no idea if this game will go F2P. So basically all I got from your post, dramatic all caps statements aside, is that you would like people to be more respectful of posters who point out what they feel the game needs to improve on.

People would have probably responded more positively, if you had just posted "Let's all be respectful of each other" followed by a picture of a kitten.
