Yesterday zos announced the addition of 2 companions with Blackwood. Players will be able to quest and explore with them, level them etc. In my opinion devs should merge companions and houseguests. So we can place them in our houses but also utilise their skills in combat. Houseguests are currently very pricy and don't offer much in terms of gameplay. If they add the functions of a companion, houseguests become all of a sudden much more appealing.
