Not sure how hard it would be to make:
Light armor take 2% more damage from heavy, 1% more from medium
Medium take 1% more damage from light or heavy
Heavy take 2% more damage from light, 1 % more from medium.
and so on. Same with movement speed, sneak, etc. Every weight should have benefits and downsides, beyond the stat that is magically tied to the weight class.

They didn't mention ANYTHING about medium armour, and yet people already go about new meta, how this or that sucks etc.
Hello? Wake up? 🙄
As long as proccs arent meta, im fine.
They should introduce speed penalties, too. Would also make sense in real life - the heavier the armour, the slower you are.
Light armour = no penalty
medium armour = 3% speed reduction each piece of medium armour
heavy armour = 5% speed reduction each piece of heavy armour

What we really need is the Dark Souls fat roll!

Well...actually, yes.
You see, when you wear a dress, it's quite inefficient to run with it. Sure it's not as tiring as a heavier armor, since the weight is lesser, but the dress doesn't allow you to run as fast as when you wear something made for that.
And i talk about dress, but actually, you can see the difference, event when you wear a jean, or any clothing which isn't made for sport, your movements are restrained by the tissue. That's not the case when you're wearing a jogging, for instance.
That's the same problematic here, the light armors are, indeed, lighter than medium armors, and so it is logical to have a bonus that allow you to run longer than in medium armor. But it is not made for action, for the run, and so, medium armors will have no penalties to their speed, or their stamina cost.
