They have said they want every area that doesn't have an expansion or is complete to get one expansion before they go back to filling in areas that have had one expansion and need more. We also know they don't do double years of the same terrain so no swamp. This means 2022 will be a Hammerfell chapter and 2023 will be Black Marsh. If 2023 isn't a BM chapter. I have waited almost my entire life to see BM in any form and we had better get it in ESO Zenimax. I have every confidence you can make a weird chapter I seen Murkmire, Clockwork, Blackreach, the Reach, and Elswyr. You can channel your inner weirdness to bring us Argonian fans a great chapter in 2023 I believe it but remember to be bold and weird with it like Morrowind try and do something super original. I believe in you. Black Marsh should be weirder or as weird as Morrowind was when it came out.

They said Murkmire was one of their better selling dlc. I hate this notion that people hate weird and fantastical things. Maybe just maybe. It's only you and a vocal minority who are paralyzed at the thought of fantasy in their fantasy setting? If Zenimax goes against their own word I will be so pissed no amount of bans will get me to go away until they uphold their word.

No we dont know, its just your theory. Plus its bad theory cause we will not get any hammerfell chapter zone until TES 6. (maybe only some small q4 dlc zone)

What makes you think the only left zones are Hammerfell and Blackmarsh ?

    - Skyrim remaining part
    - Morrowind remaining part (that red mountain was not explored AFAIK)
    - Skingrad
    - Telvanni archipelago (that arm, north-east of Tamriel)
    - Blackreach part that is not under Skyrim (just for the trolling)
    - Solstheim
    - Daedric realms (Shivering isles, Apocrypha, etc.)

So ... Maybe, maybe not by 2023.

They have said in streams that they want each province that doesn't have an expansion or fully fleshed out to get one. Well there are only two that fit the criteria Hammefell and Blackmarsh. This is stuff I was told by OG fans of ESO who watched the streams long ago. They also said they want to do the entire continent as well so at some point they would have to do Blackmarsh but I am just worried I see so much BM hate on these forums and I really think its a vocal minority. On reddit and other websites everyone likes Murkmire and I don't want them to give into pressure to not do BM and screw over Argonian and BM fans. Elswyr was the best selling expansion of all time and it was long considered an "impossible zone" to make because it would have to be too weird.

TES6 is 10+ years away get over it. An entire mmo is not going to stop and wait for a game that might never see the light of day lol. I know I'm being harsh but its a truth pill people have to swallow. I don't even like Hammerfell but know its likely to be coming next.

Really? They gave Murkmire for free soon after it was released as a daily log in reward. Not that I'd mind a Black Marsh chapter. I just want something DC-themed first. It's been forever since Wrothgar...

Yeah Hammerfell isn't happening because of TES VI. They will want to match up the remaining parts of Hammerfell with what BGS does in TES VI. Starfield is what's primarily being worked on so there's probably not enough of the TES VI map to go off of. I think it will be Morrowind > Black Marsh > Skyrim > Hammerfell

Was Murkmire one of the best selling, or is it one of the DLCs that most people just have? Because it came out as one of the daily rewards, which angered people to no end because some had already bought it.

To this day I have Murkmire but hardly visited it. I suspect it's just one of the ones that most people have.

[Snip] count me on the repelled by Argonian culture side. Ugly primitive lizard people with grating voices living in a swamp is not my idea of pleasant fantasy. It was all I could do to get through Murkmire. A year long Argonian adventure might be the straw that finally breaks me.

They screwed over Imperial fans just now in favour of Argonian fans, so well... that's ESO for you.

Murkmire wasn't that long ago, yet over a half of the Blackwood Chapter is Argonian (2 out of the 3 biomes according to the announcement). This was supposed to be the Imperial Chapter, the Oblivion-nostalgia-year, and yet Imperials are forced to share their Chapter with lizards when Khajiit got a whole year to themselves, Dunmer got a Chapter and a DLC, and High Elves and Nord got their own Chapter alone.

Seemingly, the Q4 DLC will take place in the Deadlands? So no Imperial stuff there either. I don't know how hard it would have been to make a proper Imperial Chapter, and then make a proper Argonian Chapter in a later year instead of this mashup nonsense.

Sounds like ZOS wants to shut down ESO faster, since they are rushing through their themes without doing them justice much. After this year, I doubt either Imperials or Argonians will get any content. We'll get Hammerfell for diversity next year, probably.

Right? I've been looking forward to an Imperial chapter since the Gold Coast, [Snip]. Right after hoping for Winterhold in Skyrim's year and instead getting ... vampires.

Considering the new game systems get less and less interesting every year, at least the zone and story content should be top ... right now I couldn't be less interested. :|

HAHAHA. My boys in green are way more popular than you think. What happened? Did the ESO forums echo chamber think everyone hated Argonians's and Black Marsh? These are if anything some of the most requested zones to go and visit by elder scrolls fans. It's only natural people will want BM stuff. It's a very very small and vocal minority that keeps trying to spread the mis-information no one likes black marsh.

Also the expansion is selling so fast its crashing the servers lol. What happened to Black Marsh and Argonian's being so unpopular they don't sell?

Well, there are the isles of Balfiera. They could very easily make it at least 1/2 DLC-sized landmass if they wanted to, it was fairly sizeable in TES2:Daggerfall. A chain of islands with one huge main island, on par with other Tes2 zones.

Add an aetherial pocket realm and you guaranteed have enough for a DLC. Breton, Altmer and deep lore content, easy. But we will see what they do with it, they already had a few ideas they scrapped over the course of years.

I wonder if with the addition of Blackwood they will finally mark the Niben on the world map. It just doesn't look like Tamriel without it.
Also, I hope they will remember to check how the Cyrodiil map looks and not leave an awkward bubble lingering around between the new zone and Cyrodiil while also making sure that the Elsweyr gates make sense in location.
