I have played all four classes up to the first set of group dungeons (level 13 or so) and templar and sorcerer to mid 20's.

I voted for the Templar just because the spear line is fun to use. Not because of min/maxing.

Though that's not to say my character doesn't feel strong... he's just the most fun imo.

Nightblades are very versatile
made the usual daggerstabbing bow shooting nb almost everyone is playing, and now leveling a heavy armored syphonmage shadowpriest thing and its awesome.

Templar because I like the ranged spells they have and Sorcerer's skills bug me. I also like the DK and Nightblade.

So really it's just the Sorcerer I don't... not sure why? Judging by the pole I'm alone in this.

I don't understand why ESO moved away from the usual spell schools, Alteration, Conjuration, Destruction, Illusion, Mysticism ect.. In my own opinion it is one of the defining differences that an Elder Scrolls game offers over other RPG games.

DragonKnight vampire with reflective scales and GreenDragonblood morph = unstoppable in pvp and the ability to solo any vet ranked content with ease. My new favorite class and easy to play

It's why I created this thread. I have a V2 Sorcerer and still have a tiny feeling of "Is this the right class for me?" going on.

Yeap , i totally understand you OP , but honestly , i dont know if i will ever be able to let this feeling go in this game.

While is other MMOs the gaps are bigger between classes , in this one they are not , which makes really hard for me to say "This one is the perfect for me.".

I wish they had just removed classes and allowed us to lvl any line we wanted during the game , including all the class skills.

templar - lack of healers in general and they are best suited for being a healer.

I enjoy the balance of healing, damage, and tankiness of the templar.

I enjoy the word templar and the mystique and mythos it invokes.

This is the class I've enjoyed playing the most thus far in the game.

Templar ftw! those group buffs, eclipse in pvp not to mention if played right thier probably the BEST single target dps in game.

Nightblade is what I'm playing as my main.

Prior to launch, when I was spending my game time browsing the unofficial ESO forums, I was completely certain that I wanted to play a sorceror... then as we got closer to launch, and the skill trees were released/leaked, I changed my class to templar, and was positive that templar would be the right class for me.

I get into 5 day early access, make my templar, and by level 12 I rerolled the character because I didnt like how the class abilities worked/played. Prior to that point, I had no interest at all in playing a nightblade or a dragonknight, they just didnt appeal to me.

However, I had created a nightblade on one of the other factions as an alt to play around with, and I started to love their abilities - even as a non-stealth focused character, the nightblade animations just suited my playstyle better than templar or sorceror or dragonknight did. I dont like how overly flashy a lot of the other classes are - nightblade keeps it simple and efficient, which suits me perfectly.

So now I'm maining a khajiit nightblade, aldmeri dominion, using medium armor with a 1h/shield and trying to get a tanking build to work.

Play a tank, Draconic skilltree was made to support tanking.

This is subjective, and in my opinion, quite inaccurate.

for pve i do agree that other classes can be equal or slightly better due to their better magicka management but their lack of burst healing and group healing without LoS makes them by far weaker healers than templars in pvp.

I've played a 2boxing slippery hard to catch, dress wearing, finger wiggling caster since EQ1, lots of Enchanter/Wiz AoE fun... in EQ2 my fave was my Warlock... I'm all about getting into as much trouble as possible and then doing best to get out of it, occasionally leaving everyone else to die, lol.

I love me some 8s of pajama tanking, being right in the heart of the fuss more enemies the merrier.. then hoping someone is willing to rezz me, because we all know no one heals the warlock lol.

Course ESO gave me a resto staff lol ... zomg it's all I was ever missing before. I even heal others now..don't tell anyone, it would ruin my reputation.
