What Class Goes Best With Werewolf?

I made a Dual-Wield Stam Warden, but then realized transforming is an Ultimate, as is the Warden's bear companion, so I can't be a werewolf with a bear and 2 wolves (when I morph Transform into Pack Leader)

I'm still wondering if a Stam Warden is decent? Since I'll be in melee anyways.

I run DK and its pretty good for battle cry and what not. NB is fun too, 20U away from transformation, drinks "hyde juice".

Each class has its own passives that aren't reliant on skills being used or slotted. I personally like the ones Sorcerer and Nightblade have that the WW form can utilize, but it really depends on your personal playstyle and what you like to play.

I'm mostly hoping Advanced Species can boost my Werewolf damage. I don't know if morphing swaps my hotbar or not.

It won't, because it requires an animal companion skill slotted, and as a WWyou only have WW skills. The passives that work with WW on a warden IIRC, are maturation, the one that reduces snare effectiveness, and the one boosting crit when something gets chilled. Oh, and the frost/magic damage increase.

Aww pooh. So I'm better off going NB for Hemorrage & Master Assassin

Advanced Species does not boost your Werewolf damage because transforming into a werewolf "unslots" all of your animal companion abilities.

But you do still get minor toughness as a Werewolf from healing yourself with Hircine's Bounty and morphs! You are also still 15% less affected by snares and technically you still deal increased magic and frost damage, but those are pretty much worthless.

Sorc is probably the best class for Werewolf followed by Necro.

Sorcs get 5% increased physical damage and another 1% damage increase for every 10% current enemy health while Necros get 15% on all damage over time effects which includes bleeds.

For NB, Master assassin, refreshing shadows, catalyst, hemorrhage, all work on WW.

For Sorc, the increase to mag recovery, ultimate reduction, skill cost reduction, reduced cost after blocking, increased physical and lightning damage, all work

Templar, balanced warrior, ulti/skill cost reduction, and Rez bonuses all work

Necro, increased health, (and a few I can't remember off the top of my head) all work

DK, iron skin, battle roar (when activating WW), combustion, scales (the spell resistance passive), all work

EDIT: It really depends on what you like and what you want to build upon.

I can see why Sorc is better; NB is a flat boost, and only when flanking. Sorc is a %.
But I don't see many overlapping Mag/Stam skills.
What I mean is..Werewolf is 90% Stam, Sorc is 90% Magicka. I'd be terrible out of WW form as a sorc if I went Stam, or terrible IN WW form if I went magicka?

Sorc is great as a stamina dps if you build for it. There's no absolute best class for anything. Play what you want, and build your character around how you personally like to play rather than what someone else tells you is better because for you that could be less effective than doing what you love already.

Now I am just curious how you Stam a Sorc when their skills have few Stam morphs.

    Though I'm going to Stam my Necro & then hope I can find someone to make me a WW. I don't like using staves, anyways. Though RIP Elemental Wall. ;.;

Stam Sorc is very much a thing. Sure, they use a lot of weapon abilities too, but Hurricane is a strong stamina skill, Critical Surge now provides Major Sorcery AND Brutality, Streak still costs magicka but deals damage based on your highest stat now, Unstable Clanfear is a stamina pet and Bound Armaments is a new morph that increases your maximum stamina by 8% when slotted and can build up for a combo. Combined with the new stamina spammable Crystal Weapon (morph of Crystal Shard), which also stacks with Crushing Weapon from the Psijic skills btw, you can have quite the deadly combo ready.
That you don't have a stamina class ultimate is completely off-set by the fact that you are running a werewolf build.
That's quite a lot of stamina skills actually.

Their class skills may have less stamina-costing morphs compared to other classes, but that doesn't mean that you can't make an effective stamina sorcerer. They have class-wise; bound armaments, hurricane, dark deal, clannfear (if you so choose, just remember it taunts), crit surge, and a few others. If you needed a 'spammable', you'd go to the weapon skill line of your choice and use those, or pick something from the many other skills available to all characters in the game.

Thank you but I found someone.
Now I'm wondering if I should be a Bow necro, or dual-wield?

I don't think the claw attacks count as dual-wielding, but I dunno..

I like the 6% weapon dmg increase from Templar's balanced warrior. The cost reduction is also sweet bc of how expensive ww skills are.

I use a Stamsorc, duel wield. Works great, the passive buffs to damage the Sorc gets are nice, as these carry over to WW form.

As an added wee bonus, you get a full skill duration for crit surge and hurricane, during which time you can do quite a bit of damage :)
(obviously this involves buffing up before triggering WW ult).

Also to combine two threads https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/558494/stormfist-monster-set-question#latest Stormfist on a stamsorc werewolf gives good damage and provides some AoE without losing much damage over Velidreth or other monster sets.

Any class for sure but stam sorc/orc is a good option to go for. If you plan to run BG's you wont be alone...its the insta-crutch build atm.

Really? But they love division. Specifically; dividing people of their body parts.
