the game is riddled with a lot of issues. so in my opinion it is time to clean up.
1. make notifications and group account-wide:
there is no reason to have 20 notifications pop all over again on all your characters. it will reduce the amount of back and forth accounts have with the servers by small amount, and allow players to pre-group, and only accept group after a relog (or even stay in the *** group and be automatically inside once you relogged, no reason to make groups per character either).
2. get rid of "group setting":
This one is pretty straight forward. when you teleport inside manually you will have the option to chose from vet and normal. current "group" setting is riddled with tons of bugs, including:
Reset your group setting after a dungeon to normal, even though u do exclusively vet content.
Failing to group teleporting members.
Failing to group occasionally for no apparent reason.
(note that the last 2 issues are only speculations, since they are new, and the fiddling with the "group setting" was the only thing that changed that i could think of).
3. making mails account-wide, have them downloaded to the game files, and add "refresh mails" button (that u can use once per 10 seconds):
there is no reason for the game to "forget" mails you loaded 2 hours ago. it should be saved inside your file memories, and loaded from there, not the server again. it will reduce amount of information jumping back and forth from the servers.
4. defaultly account-wide settings:
no reason for accounts to have 18 different settings for each character. those that want it can have a "set per character" settings, but generally it is a headache for the players themselves. not much in the performance department here though.
5. scrap gear level:
you heard me right. scrap it. gear level. potions levels. food levels. material level. combine all the different levels for all gear food and materials.
for foods and drinks the separation will allow to have a higher variety of different stats given (for example 6000 max mag and 2000 health) with higher peaks (7000 max mag) and more fun.
less calculations and interactions with the servers (for different gear levels, especially on characters that are not yet max level and wearing random gear).
actual gear progression for low levels (lets face it, currently when you are low level your "gear progression" is actually "gear regression").
you can even keep arena weapons and monster sets as "max level exclusive".
cleans up a lot of useless materials slots from craftbag and inventories, cleaning up a lot of server memory slots on a lot of accounts.
letting the crafting levels matter where they actually should, in the true end game, housing.
6. allow loading your houses privately on your pc, instead of on the servers:
less strain on the servers.
lets you furnish it in peace.
lets you parse in peace without server lag involved.
7. scrap cp already:
this one is pretty straight forward. move more base stats (crit, crit dmg, etc etc) into your character, balance the skills, and remove the extra calculations. let levels above lvl 50 (after the 64 skill points) matter only for non combat purposes, "champion points" shop with manageable prices would go great. there is no reason for game to give this much power to higher levels. it also should feel like leveling more is rewarding. (moving part of the crown store to cp or crowns would be awesome, and feel less cash grabby, without hurting income too much, those that buy in the crownstore will still do so, those that wouldnt buy from crownstore as it is already are doing so, and just buying with gold...)
8. clean up combat codes:
this one is pretty straight forward... i mean, code is a mess. cleaning it up will fix straight up exploits (see unfathomable darkness X hurricane thread) and tons of bugs as well (last time i checked, while shade stopped overwriting brittle, it was screwing up minor maim. lol.)
9. hide all friendly summons/all not yours summons option (including non combat pets):
please. PLEASE.
