Or perhaps it's the buggy, bot infested rubbish that the ESO players have to put up with, not to mention the bank issues, loading screens and countless other problems.

But clearly I am directly from Blizzard to trash talk a game I have waited for, for years in order hold on to the remaining customers in a game I have not played for over 5 years.

It tells me clearly that many of you are new to posting in forums. I can only deduce that the reason behind this sudden boost in community involvement is compelled by your deep interest in the game.
The reason I say "New" is because people clearly do not understand that the less involvement and responses a thread has, the less weight it carries when trying to convey a particular message regarding complaints or changes that you wish to be considered. In short, when you start a new thread about something people have already started somewhere else, then all you are doing is dividing the people up who feel the same way you do. Everyone is familiar with the whole "strength in numbers" concept and if you truly support a particular idea or grievance that other people are having then you should add your ideas, input, and personal thoughts to THAT post.
Well it depends whether you are talking about a general bug that people want fixing, or a specific bug they want help with.

Remember this is the CS Forum.

If it's a bug that means something doesn't happen, then the weight of numbers arguement is valid. But quite a few of these threads are people wanting CS to talk to them specifically, so they can continue playing the game.
People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

    You're kidding...right?

    Why would they NEED to?

Because it is easier to use negative PR while the game is doing poorly than to do it when it is doing fine. It is actually a common practice to hire people to attack a competitor in forums and blogs. Companies do it all the time. Just like firms also hire people to pump their product in a similar fashion.
Side effects of reading messages on forums can cause nausea, head aches, spontaneous fits of rage, urination due to intense laughter, and sometimes the death of your monitor or other object in throwing range. This has to be... award level ..

Starting a thread complaining about people starting thread to complain...
and you do it on the Support Forum - which is here essentially FOR complaints.

    Brilliant... Simply Brilliant.

if you dont have issue's in-game than why the hell are you even on these forums?
to get annoyed by people that need help ?
    go away...
Im in the forums to see when the game is back up. And as I stated I do have issues in-game. I just dont throw a panic fit over them. These forums Im mentioning are not "people needing help." They are plainly defacing the game and company.
But apparently you are here for the reasons you accuse me of. Good luck with that.

Ah yeah...it's the customer's fault that the game is full of bugs.....right.
I mean...if we didn't mention those bugs, they wouldn't exist, right?
You almost make it sound like it's the forum users who are creating these bugs.

    TLDR;
ZoS are defacing the game and their company themselves.

I just wish they would go ahead and make a General Discussion forum. There should never been this many trolling/non-Customer Support related posts ever in a CS forum.

Someone comes in asking for help and without fail there are always trolling posts. =/

The real irony of the OP, is that for someone to take notice of your suggestion they'd have to be following it already (i.e., looking through/reading previous posts) which I doubt seriously is even happening. Typically what I'm seeing is a lot of rash, thoughtless emotional reactive responses- rather than proactive ones.
TL;DR - If you got this far without reading the entire post you're either too lazy or suck at reading comprehension and probably don't belong in a public forum anyway. Just move along, you wouldn't understand.

We can complain as much as we want! We have freedom of speech, at least in the USA. No idea about the BRITS or Canadians. We gave the company money. They did not deliver their end of the deal.

They promote RMT, They crashed the economy, dupe. They discourage grouping or helping people. They spent 200M dollars to make a game that feels like 1990's.

Most game reviewers gave this game a bad review.

The graphics are worse than AION,a 2008 game.
The grouping is worse then playing a offline game with a friend on my PS2.
    Some starter quest are broken.

I could go on and on, but f you compare ffxiv and this game what both were in development at the same time. In every aspect FFXIV wins. Crafting, graphics, group content. Guildes, friend list. Oh and they do it all with just a sub fee, they don't need a sub fee, plus cash store.

Sub fee plus a cash store is a sig for failure and a company trying to recope money before investors pull out as they have no confidence in what they invested in.

I happen to agree with the OP! I believe you will see more of these threads popping up and more of the player base standing up against these trolls/complainers. After a while you just get fed up with it and take action any action.

As long as it isn't the player base which are typing the code, it's pretty damn hard for us to be proactive.

So what you are actually saying, is that you want more Dev posting, which are the only ones who can be truly proactive.

Did people even read the OP before they reacted? LOL - what he said makes sense. He never said you can't be unhappy or post negative thoughts. He just said it is more effective to keep them all in one thread, rather than make 52 different ones all complaining about the same thing. And I would think that is true. If you are unhappy join with all the people having the same issue rather than opening yet another thread about problem x,y,z just to be special.

I did a similair post a day or so ago. The similair trolls came.

Anyone who asks people to stop trolling, or spammign the forum board, is going to get the same.

Trolls/serial complainers always have plenty of bandwagon jumpers and are fully loaded with meme's little youtube videos, man these people are fully trained in the art of being a little ***.

I think the ESO community does have mature gamers, both UK and USA, who are sick of this negativity and spam on the forum boards.

It's interesting to say though by the same measure that it may be hirelings from competitors, seems easy to believe such pathetic little marketing tactics go on.

I worked in a UK games retailer names Gamstation for a few years, and we often had rival stores sneaking in to see our promotions and trade prices and what ever else.

I am getting more of a positive feeling however recently by seeing more people being positive and trying to combat the "Angry Joe sky is falling" troop.

Don't let the crap on your thread here get you down op! (I'm sure it wouldn't anyway) ;)

The negativity wouldn't be this immense if ZoS stepped up and started communicating honestly.

Seeing how this is the Customer Support forum, by it's very nature it is a complaint forum.

Well, at least it supposed to be. However, it has evolved into a General Discussion forum, as they clearly didn't have the resources to produce one.
Words contained in posts, at which point I stop reading and will not respond...
Toon / Mana / WoW or any acronym following "In ___" /
Pets (when referring to summoned Daedra) / Any verbiage to express slang (ie, ending in uz,az,..) / Soul Stone
    ... to be continued.

    Now, get off my lawn.

It's the Customer Support Forum, it's for people to complain about stuff that isn't working,so ok course it's going to mostly negative.

Now if you want to complain about the negative threads on other forums, please do.

Sure there are plenty of issues, but I'm amazed that people would bash on the graphics. The game world looks beautiful and amazing to me, and it seems to have been coded well enough that I can run it on ultra high graphics with a fairly old and middle-of-the-road PC.

And I'd certainly expect there to be more issues grouping in an online mmo than in an offline console game. Why wouldn't there be?

I would take your post into consideration if you wouldn't use tactics that trolls use. For example, abusing the word 'clearly'. Trolls do that a lot, say that something is 'clearly this or that', 'plainly this or that', 'obviously this or that' without actual arguments, just to seemingly give more weight to whatever idea they want to promote. Like when you replied to some guy who said something about being here for help, you belittled him and told him he is 'clearly' here to deface the company. How did you figure that one out?

On another note, I am not really sure who this post was meant to be for.
If you are trying to tell the trolls not to troll, then that will not happen, trolls will not suddenly change because of one post.
Also, you cannot educate people, if that is your hope / wish. If people were willing to understand things and act properly, they probably would've already.

As it is, even if your post was done in good spirit (of which I am not entirely sure), it acts as nothing but troll bait.

So basically what I'm reading is firstly: you haven't read my initial post..because clearly I am not complaining about complaining. I am complaining about people complaining in a disorganized way. And judging by the repeated posts stating the exact same thing in this thread alone, "So you're complaining about complaining...ironic" ..over and over... Tells me that I am right. You people are not reading what other people are writing and all you are doing is unknowingly regurgitating other people's posts. If you want to see anything change then you need to get your *** together, slow down your anger, read what other people are saying...and sign that petition, so to speak. Click "Agree" or "Insightful" or post your own personal addition to the discussion. I have complaints too. And it's not that people are complaining. It's that nothing will get done about the things we want to change because of the manner in which the complaining is happening. It's frustrating having to state the obvious and still sit here and watch it get missed. Unreal.

Me too. I bought the game with the Imperial edition upgrade, and my quest buddy and I have decided not to even finish out our free time because of the current prevalence of bots and all the other stuff that reduces the fun of this game. So, the entertainment of the forums will finish up giving me the entertainment I expected to get for the money I put in.

OP, you missed the boat entirely.

If there was nothing to complain about people would not complain.
And also NO...many of the people on the forum are not new at all. Most have years of experience with other MMO's and are forum experts also after decades of hanging out on the Net.

and no, i am not send by another company
