Lead Searching - Is there a trick to getting the lead in Bad Man's Hallows

It's not a misconception. While RNG didn't work out for you, the more mobs you loot the more chances you to grab the lead. And grouping allows you to loot mobs you wouldn't have been able to loot otherwise.

Grouping has some benefits: its easier to get loot from all the mobs and stuff dies faster even if killing all.
On delve bosses its also nice to group up if multiple players around so you get loot even if looking away for 3 seconds and boss spawns.

Now I got the bad man hollow drop fast on an boss. That is another thing the lead hints on sites can be inaccurate.
Its just compiled of there the authors and their friends got the lead after all.

My worst luck was in delves, in some I had to spend many hours.
And the music box mechanism, so many safe boxes

Dakshade 2 6 something runs who was worst for group dungeons.

There's no inaccuracy with regard to Bad Man's Hollow leads.

The lead you got from the boss is not the same lead everyone else is talking about here.
The boss lead in Bad Man's is for the Wild Hunt ring.

The lead you get from the mobs is for the Pale Order ring.

There’s no trick it’s just RNG. I got mine in 10 minutes and I heard of someone who got theirs after 10 hours.

Got some feedback that said a few things....first, dont go alone, faster kills and groups (two is ok) seems to be the trick. Second, I took a toon that had never done the dungeon before and got it on the second mob (after hours on other tries).

Grouping with other players down there will increase your chances because you will get drops for more kills.

Take a newbie friend without greymoor. They'll get it first time and ask you 'what's a lead ?'

IMO and of others. The thing is to not want it apparently. I have gotten an achievement for all the leads I have received yet I have never sought after anything. When I get greymoor either from purchase or monthly sub, I still will not scry.
