Cups and bottles result in no new items at times

Hi, I was wondering if this is by design or if my character is bugged. I noticed that sometimes when you loot bottles or cups you don't get any new inventory items. When I press 'i' I don't have an exclamation point showing new items and I notice my potion, etc. amount is the same.

Is this normal?

    Hmmm, i Haven't really noticed this.. I'll have to try it out next time I see a bottle on a table.

    It could possibly be a design choice - meaning that the bottle/cup is empty. When you interact with it, it doesn't tell you what it contains for whatever reason.

    Yeah hope so =) I noticed the cups and bottles that don't give you anything make no sound effect when you pick them up. However, you do see bottles that say 'empty' and you cant loot them. So yeah hope this is by design and not just me.
