Hi there,

Today I startled into a strange problem:
When I logged in with my new lv. 7 character (which was originally playing on the island of Vvardenfell) it suddenly spawned in Deshaan. I tried to return to Vvardenfell via a wayshrine but all locations in vvardefell are undiscoverd. I have another account that is lv. 38 and was once in Deshaan, but my new lv. 7 character never been there.

If I want to go from Deshaan to Vvardenfell I must buy the Morrowind dlc why? I was there a few days ago...

Is this bug normal? And can it be solved?

Yours faithfully,
Petrus

Were you playing through a free trial? If so, when the trial ends it will revoke your access from any area that requires you to either own the chapter OR have access via ESO+. Morrowind is a chapter zone much like Summerset, Elsweyr, etc.

Or if you had ESO+ and it ran out, and you don’t own the chapter zone, it will also revoke your access. You have to have one or the other. Ownership or access via eso+

I have never started or received an eso+ membership not even a trial. I just started a new character and began playing on Vvardenfell doing vivec quests, when I logged in later I was banished there. Now I'm playing in a different area.

Had it something to do with the ''free week' that was active?

That’s what I meant. The free trial that was going on might have started you in Morrowind rather than a base game zone like Deshaan. When the trial ended (I assume it’s over) the game redirected your character to Deshaan which is part of the base game Ebonheart alliance.

That was my first thought but now I’m not sure.

Isn’t Vvardenfell part of the base game now?

Also, if OP started a free trial then he wouldn’t be able to play at all when it ended.

He also says he has another account (I assume this means another character) that is higher level too.

So he’s not new to the game.

As far as I'm aware, Vvardenfell is not part of the base game. I do believe it has become purchasable as a DLC, however, meaning it can be accessed as part of ESO+.

Any content marked as a Chapter still requires the purchase of that Chapter (until such time it becomes a DLC, then it can be visited during ESO+ subscription).

If the free weekend was for ESO+ benefits, those benefits expired when the weekend was over. Thus, access to Vvardenfell was lost.

Vvardenfell not part of the base game at present. Seems you were booted from it due to free time period ending.
