The Ring of Khajiit makes the wearer invisible, silent, and quick and was used by Rajhin to become the most successful thief in the history of Elsweyr.
Perhaps though it can only be obtained from Meridia and would not make sense to find via the antiquities system... Last night I was starting the quest to restore the mural in Elsweyr and was reminded of this ring and thought, here truly is a mythic item of legend!

✭✭✭For sure a nice suggestion, but how would you see it play out? We got the ring of the wild hunt, it increases movement speed in and out of combat. To have something that increases your movement speed while also making you invisible, it must have something else to not make it broken.
Something along the lines of only giving you the speed buff while being invisible, and having the invisibility only work under certain conditions. Could make it so that the Ring would grant you a Speed buff while undetected and lower your detection radius? That way it would not become a pain to deal with in combat per say but be able to be used as a complement to existing mechanics. Either as a means to escape or to initialize a quick ambush from the shadows.
Cause correct me if I am wrong but Rajhin was not one to cause harm with the ring, more to steal and play tricks on people. To show of his agility and wit.2 -
Shadow_CH✭✭✭Just add the downside: These effects disappear when you activate a skill or synergy. They return after 30 seconds or when out of combat again.
This way it shouldn't be a problem for PVP

That can certainly help improve game.
Invisibility is just too strong. You can't hit what you can't see. It shouldnt be without cooldown in mmo game at all0 -

✭A ring with stealth speed increase and reduced detection would be amazing for my thieving (and I wouldn't be swapping so much gear all the time to get those bonuses on my magicka using character, although the extra stamina while sneaking is nice too).
I wonder if some mythics could be only pve or only pvp - which would allow more focused effect and easier balancing.
I am not sure what the downside of the Ring of the Khajiit should be. If intended only for thieving purposes (and not sneaking around mobs during quests etc) then maybe something about using skills/abilities (but not BoW - thieves need to use that too! people are just easier to rob and avoid when they are dead lol) Of course, IF you are spotted by a guard you may want to be able to use defensive abilities/healing abilities while you escape.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Those are all good points! As for why I said Meridia, from what I read it was originally hers and has been granted by her to other heros. And indeed, when Rajhin overused it, it betrayed him and left him helpless before his enemies. So maybe if you attacked someone while wearing it you would lose the benefit and maybe even get a debuff or at least not be able to activate it again for a time? I was thinking more of use in PvE application, although perhaps also it could be useful for those who want to decrease risk while going after PvE objectives in Cyrodill? Or perhaps it would have to be an activatable object with a cooldown — so while in use you were both invisible and fast, a power greater than RotWH, but it is only temporary which is its drawback and perhaps not useable in combat at all.3 -

This, put in a no regen debuff when active, and it's basically as balanced as a stage 4 vampire.
Downsides of Vampire passive:
You have to sprint for a few seconds. (You can sprint into a wall if you don't have running room though.)
You have to be careful going down hill, even a small drop will cancel thw sprint.
You can't take damage, any attack luanched before you go invisible will still hit.
You have to be stage 4, so health regen is 0.
Even for a stage 2 or 3 vampire, this would be useful, so needs the regen debuff to stay balanced.Main: Drio Azul ~ DC, Redguard, Healer/Magicka Templar ~ NA-PC

Eiagra✭✭✭✭✭Possible consideration: Disable interactions, attacks, abilities, ultimates, and/or quickslots while worn; or perhaps drain an attribute while worn (not sure if health, stamina, or magicka would be a better "battery" for it). Figuring out something that makes sense from a lore perspective while also providing game balance for the invisibility would be key. I'm presuming the invis would break if you take damage.
What kind of use cases would this be best for? What kind of use cases could be unfairly abused if not balanced? (Need to consider all content, including Thieves Guild, etc. Maybe those lantern circles also break invisibility.)██████ █████████ ███████ In verity.1 -

For sure if it was limited to pve. Something like this would make the pvp community implode lol. Most of the pvp community is temperamental at the best of times. I know this because I'm one of them.

Not permanent invisibility, no, definitely not. I’m thinking it would need to be activated and then would have a cooldown — similar to if you drink a potion of invisibility plus speed. And doing damage should definitely break the effect, and I think it would be fitting to put on a longer cooldown if used that way. I don’t think it’s meant to be an assassin’s tool.0 -

But i already have this as a Nightblade with Ring of the Wild Hunt, Concealed Weapon, and Shadowy Disguise. If I feel like capping invisi-speed I just slot Race Against Time.
Concealed Weapon +25% Steath/Invis Move Speed
Ring of the Wild Hunt +45% Out of Combat Move Speed
Major Expedition +30% Move Speed
25+45+30=100 Speed Cap achieved without any swift! That solves the speed problem.
As for running enough recovery, I run 1 Magicka Recovery Glyph, 5x Bright-Throat's Boast, and pop trash magicka pots when needed, with Witchmother's Potent Brew.

I will never be a vampire, even if it had no effect on character appearance and was totally BiS for everything.
But I was suggesting it mostly because it’s an item with lore and history not only in ESO but other TES titles as well from what I’ve read.0
