How is it that we get useless hotfixes which fixes next to nothing. How is it that zos dont comment on these issues, how is it, that this has been going on for MONTHS now.

✭✭The fixes have brought some measure of relief, but there's still so much broken, unfortunately. Or barely functioning. Which is disheartening considering that we just had two of said fixes in a row...Angua Anyammis Ae Sunna2 -

linuxlady✭✭✭✭I can’t get a gaming controller to work with this game except with steam. Free play isn’t available through steam in any fashion to get the controller support steam provides so people who wanted free play on pc with a controller I am at a loss to help them with but even if I could this game is so dysfunctional I don’t know what they would really do if the controllers actually worked.1

✭✭✭I hate to be the "white knight" BUT other than the Lich boss in Wayrest 2 I have had minimal issues...
Many dungeons completed, one missing purple box today, several trials completed with no problem and no crashes for anyone in group.
There are definitely problems BUT they seem to effect everyone differently such is the nature of online gaming
When people say to me........

bakthi✭✭✭I have had a few crashes in the past few weeks, definitely more noticeable than before. Today I did Wayrest 2 and none of us crashed (but data is not the plural of anecdote, of course). One crash in Cyrodiil on Friday in about an hour and a half.
I played with a controller through not-Steam for a year; still worked fine the last time I tried (~2 weeks ago?), but I mostly use KB+M now (saving the planet by using my laptop instead of the projector, so I only use a controller when I have to play both accounts at once, like to give myself a WW bite or something). Logitech F710, which you really have to beat Windows into allowing to function at all these days (with any game), but function it does.
Then again, lately my playtime has been light. linuxlady✭✭✭✭tried in linux with lutris to install eso for a friend to try free version. also trying in windows. in neither case will the controllers work. Steam has no free play but the controllers work perfectly in steam. The hate in this forums towards steam is unconscionable esp since steam does so much to make all games, including eso, run so very well.0

@linuxlady, re Steam, I play all my TES games on Steam-- except Blades, which isn't available for Windows. I even have Arena set up so I can launch it from Steam. But I don't think you'll win many friends on the forums by repeatedly mentioning Steam, since as you say it doesn't get any love from most of the people here. Anyone who has strong feelings against Steam won't be swayed by any arguments in its favor-- so to each their own, and live and let live.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

Most funny things..ws2 works flawlesss for me..but crashing in other dungs...so its rl something diff for anyone0 -

Because people who are frequent DCs or experience bugs resulting from PVE or PVP are not ZoS' target audience. They get more money from casual players who decorate their houses and do quests. When you do that the possibility of DCing or having any major issues is almost non-existent that's why while the cash is flowing, there's no point for them to acknowledge anything or do any proper changes.
You know what it would take to fix this game? Probably no DLC releases with the whole development team focused on re-writing the game and this way optimising it and getting rid of bugs.
