There are still players who prefer traditional game modes (capture the flag being the most traditional) which, unlike in DM, involve thoughtful planning and strategy development.

What thought goes into standing on a flag holding block? Or hiding in stealth at spawn to kill anyone who tries to pick up your relic. Sure, thats a valid strategy. But it requires less thought and skill than actually fighting other people and trying to win those fights.

I am reminded of my early days of Halo LAN parties. It was always my group of friends vs my brothers. They were younger and grew up with Xbox controllers in their hands. In straight deathmatch type battle, they would usually win, but any strategy based game, King of the Hill, Capture the Flag, we would destroy them. Haha
I don't understand how one can make decision to force Player vs Player content to be running with relics like rabbits or jumping from flag to flag AVOIDING the main Purpose of MMORPG PvP which is TO KILL OTHER PLAYERS.
