If ZOS were parents and we the kids:

Parents: 'Here you go, kids...open your gifts!'
Kids : 'Oh...but they are broken, parents!' *shakes broken gift*
Parents: 'Oh...better luck next year! Now off you go and watch our old DVD library of over 5000 hours of cinema!'

Except that ESO is not a gift but a service we’re paying for AND it’s not new stuff that’s broken (at least not only) but several dungeons, even how people play (who doesn’t hate not knowing whether your skill has failed to go off or there’s a long delay, etc.), and then AvA which is now GroupVSGroup I guess, plus solo PvE with a chance of getting jumped? Don’t get me wrong, I love ESO, but changes like this seem really bad for the game and since it’s not freeware or something, I don’t feel wrong to say so.

Cancelled and got a refund also too like a week ago. So fed up with the game right now.

There are so many good games around and I've enjoyed them far more I've enjoyed this "year long saga" thing which basically gives us nothing.

I prefer end game pve. 2 dungeons and 1 trial a year just isn't enough for me. Especially when the loot you got from those are decent (Unhallowed) but then get nerfed a week later or totally useless (KA).

And then they buff 5 year old trial gear to be BiS? C'mon... not worth my time or money - sadly. Huge potential, poor execution.

This game is less frustrating to play if I'm eating edibles :sunglasses:
But I do agree with several views so far on this thread.
Sucks when you love something and don't want to see it die, ya know? This is why I don't get hamsters anymore :worried:

    Well said.

I've cancelled. It's been influenced by what others have said, but not the underlying reason.

Subscription is for 30 days (not one month) and my actual renewal date each month has slowly been going down. As I get paid monthly this renewal date now falls before I get paid. For anyone that gets paid monthly, you know how it's hard to juggle that last week, so ESO has now been cut loose.

I might subscribe in the New Year, I might not. I'll see how I feel during the withdrawal, but I'll most likely be having too much fun to care.

... Because I can't use my right hand, I tend to run only my healer or tank...

What is your setup for playing one handed? I could see using a stick for movement, and maybe a hat switch for camera, but it sounds tricky. Do you use a foot pedal?

Nah. I had a stroke a couple of years ago. It paralyzed the right side of my body. I've spent two years trying to recover. I credit the game with what I've recovered in my right hand. I can't use my fingers yet, but I can move them. I can use the thumb. So, using my left hand, I push the PS4 controller into my right hand so I can use the right thumb. It works for me.

That's why the changes, glitches and bugs are so frustrating. Now that I can really only play one of the 20 characters I have spread out between the EU and NA servers, I'm losing interest. That's bad, as it's ESO and Cyrodiil that's helped me with my hand to date.

Like I said. I like to run a solo healer. I've got five different types of pvp healers. Since I don't normally run in a group, there's no use taking them to Cyrodiil. I have a couple of pvp tanks. I play them some. But it's less and less all the time.

You pvp with one hand? I use 2 and I suck at pvp 😅❤💕
Just trying to cheer you up.😊
I hear you OP I too have been very frustrated with certain issues lately. My main personal issue is my ms being over 230...240
I dont know if its me or the lag hindering my progress a lot of the time.
Im really sorry you feel so upset and had enough...it takes a lot of frustration to push you there when you love a game.

Thanks. I used to be better at pvp. I'm still trying to rehab my hand, and ESO helps. But the changes, bugs and glitches messed that up.

    ESO PvP is getting worse..

So many times I said "$$$@#@#@!" because I die and I look at my deathcap and think '$$$@#@#@!' how is that even possible. I die to so many things and I don't even see players do it. I think the Devs thought 'remove animation cancelling' meant "remove animation".

I think most agree this is, at the least, one of the worst updates ever since so much broke.

That's been said for several updates. People can never decide which is which but in my opinion Markarth is hardly the worst we've had. Doesn't anyone remember Orsinium, when even looking at the city caused a crash.

I've cancelled and stopped playing at all. Love the game but 8-10 crashes/freezes a day and sometimes 10 minutes or more to get in with crashes is just to much. Playing Project Gorgon beta now most fun I have had since Asherons Call.(same devs)
