3 hardest titles to earn in-game?

The trial achievements aren't that difficult to obtain if you think outside the box. You could join a guild or trial group and "get good" of course, but equally you can buy a carry to pick up any of these titles. Job done.
I think the harder to achieve titles are some of the originals that were aimed at the player completing a lot of the content. Master Angler, for sure. Master Monster Slayer maybe. Tamriel Anchor Destroyer. Tamriel Skyshard Hunter. Those sorts of achievements. These require you to put in some serious hours personally, and to experience the game at its broadest level, PVP, PVE, the whole thing.
Of course, Emperor is still probably that hardest if you have a life outside gaming ;-)
Just FYI no one can sell you godslayer,dawnbringer or unchained unless you provide your personal information and have someone else play on your account(which will probably get you banned). I know you might see a lot of WTS Godslayer etc in carry discord ads in zone chat but they are just there as bait to show to the buyer that the group is top tier. I have almost every achievment in the game(and certainly all the hard ones) and have been/am part of like every carry discord in pc/eu. Just once if you see said message in zone chat ask about godslayer carry. I can gurranty you you will not get an answer back. Only trial trifectas that are legit ever get sold (and thats RARE still) are ir,gh and like once a year ttt.0 -

✭✭Unfortunately titles that you get from group content are meaningless because all the carries sold. The only ones that matter is the ones you do solo. I've seen plenty of noobs with titles that they clearly didn't earn.0 -

I’m pretty sure this wasn’t a serious post but rather a comment towards to general annoyance of getting these ones, but I’m gonna comment nevertheless that I have two of those without even trying to achieve them...

I agree. It's the most difficult I believe because most of us don't have the patience to do it. Not that it's hard dexterity wise, but hard mindful wise. Patience is a virtue.
For people who say it's not hard, how come you don't have it? Just one button pushing? Where is your master angler. OH you don't have one? Then yeah, it's the hardest one to get.

I took a break from all my normal activities to finish and finally grind it out. It was a potent cocktail of tranquility mixed with many moments of insanity. I'm generally not the most patient person and it tested me super hard. I spent over 20+ hrs in-game just trying to get my last foul in Coldharbor alone. My insanity actually drove me to put in a ticket to ZOS thinking it was bugged (stinger pike; and I'll forever keep it in my inventory for remembrance).
With all my proud clears/achievements in ESO -master angler will forever be my most glorious moment. Some differ and say it was easy or not that bad and that's fine but for me it was.Edited by Odovacar on December 4, 2020 2:49PM1 -

I actually crashed on the run my raid team got Dawnbringer... but I get the point

codierussell✭✭✭✭Just here to laugh at all the comments comparing Master Angler to things like Godslayer. On my server there are only 12 characters with the title Godslayer. There are more players in my one PVE trials guild with Master Angler than there are Godslayers on the server. Just because you don't see titles around doesn't mean there aren't a ton around. For instance, I have Dro'Mathra Destroyer on like 6 or 7 characters but not a single one uses the title. Everyone in the game is capable of getting Master Angler, Grand Master Crafter, Grand Overlord it just depends on how much time people want to put into those achievements; on the other hand there is a very small amount of players capable enough to get trial achievements and therefore they are the hardest.4

That's just to inform that if you see a Godslayer, it still doesn't mean he done it legit way. There is lot of people willing to disclose their account information and spend PLEEEENTY of gold just for the Godslayer title.1 -

Oh so agree! It took me to the edge of my sanity to get the damn achievement. And I do believe that it was also a Coldharbour fish that nearly pushed me over.
So pah! To your godslayers etc etc.
You killed a couple of dragons? Meh.
I have slaughtered a multitude of fish, and now I am Master.
I bow to no-one.
(And its the one title that really tells me a LOT about the player.)

By that logic You can also get solo titles like flawless conqueror. Getting an achievement that way is against ToS though because it is considered as account sharing which can end up with ban when exposed. The harder achievement someone gets that way the bigger risk of some person reporting him/her just in case. The tougher achievement the easier to get ban for account shared carry. As for the amount of people that potentially got godslayer that way I wouldn't name their amount as "a lot".
Also it's worth to inform that any achievement can be completed by sharing account informations with others and letting them to play for You if You want to take the risk.Edited by Juhasow on December 6, 2020 11:59PM2 -
All the correct answers are somewhere in the thread already, so I'm just going to throw out an annoying one that probably flies under most radars: Deadlands Adept
All of the requisite achievements are nothing foreign or particularly difficult to a regular runner of vet dungeons. Getting a no-death run with a PUG has been a persistent frustration for me. Half the time someone wants to take a minor shortcut, jumps off the waterfall at the very beginning, and splats themselves on the rocks below. The other half of the time, something bizarre happens leading to a single death by someone. But that's just my experiences. I have plenty of time to keep trying, because...
Veteran Flame Colossus Slayer. Kills needed: 50
This is the agonizing part. There are only four flame colossi in the whole dungeon. The only one you're guaranteed to fight is gated by the first boss and tons of adds in between. If you know about the two major shortcuts across the lava, you can skip the others. Almost everyone uses those shortcuts, so you're incrementing your kill counter by 1 for each run of that incredibly long dungeon.
They need to take it down to about 10 kills. I think getting the Deadlands Savvy achievement is pretty cool considering everything that goes into it, but by the time you've run vCoA2 ten times, you probably have everything you need for it except the bloody flame colossi.1 -
