You can use frost clench as a stun now.
That i missed. Remorphed it immediately. Thanks for that.
Sad thing though, that i now have to waste a slot for that. because i really, really loved Frost staff tanking because i did not need a skill for it, thugh the heavy attack was bit slow.
Why is it so difficult for people to simply acknowledge that frost staff never should have been a tank weapon in the first place?
All of the skills are clearly designed with damage dealing in mind. Just give ice staff back to DD with either a % crit bonus or dot bonus to bring it in line with fire and lighting and make a separate skill tree / weapon for mag tanking.
No other weapon line tries to do double duty like this and its an abject failure as a result. Sorry but this approach is nothing but pure stubborn laziness on the part of the dev team.
Just sayin.

I agree. I even thought of transmuting my infused staff to charged to have more chances of applying minor brittle while I activate WoE. But still, the loss will be greater than using infused with crusher.
They probably made minor brittle proc from your active bar only so that only players who use ice staves as main weapon can benefit from it.

That's exactly why they did it, to force the ice staff to be actually useful.

As a support weapon?
Btw, do you know if they already fixed brittle not applying properly when there is minor maim?

Perhaps Razor Caltrops could suffice?
