Solution, never come back after an update. Come a month before next update, it is usually when game works best.

But some stuff is broken with no fix upcoming.
When I started playing, I had a stealthy Bosmer main who enjoyed solo healing in Cyrodiil and getting around quickly from fight to fight using Rapid Maneuver. But they took all of that away from him, for no good reason.
Still broken to this day.

Each patch adds new content, features or changes to the game. It grows more complex with each patch. Lets not forget
all the new items, furniture, clothes, armor sets, more effects, more calculations etc. This all impacts servers. Also the population has increased tremendously. Currently the game has more players than ever. The performance can only go one way if it continues like this. Why is everyone surprised?

While it's true about all those things, none of them are broken. They are working exactly as ZOS wants them to, even if players don't agree with it.

They all worked as ZOS wanted them to for years with no issues whatsoever. So did the code.
Ask yourself...... what changed?

Think this patch managed to mess up way more than usual because of the performance improvements who just made the game very unstable, can not see any improvements, in anything its worse in addition to the game crashing. Each patch adds new content, features or changes to the game. This is an honest question and I would really like to know if someone from zos would please enlighten me. How is it possible, when you have this performance road map and have apparently been working on fixing performance, to break the game so badly every update. Im so sick of posting details but basically more lag more bugs and now im constantly crashing, which is something that ive been lucky to avoid in the past when others have had that issue.
I would just honestly like to know how is anyone supposed to have faith that you can fix things when it literally never gets better, only worse. Every update i play for a bit, quit, and come back the next update hoping these performance fixes have made things even slightly better. And every time i come back i am met with something worse than last update.

To be honest? A lot of the developer staff changed. When the old lineup left, so too did their good ideas and relatively moderate capability to keep things running efficiently. I unfortunately even miss Wrobel because of the game's current state.

It's a balancing issue, not a bug.

I miss Wrobel because despite all the problems the game was actually enjoyable under his reign.

(in fact ESO has rather lost players since summer, at least on Steam)
