Unable to gain Ultimate and also seem to be getting no loot after respec last night.

Did a character skill point reset last night. After playing a bit I noticed that I was not gaining Ultimate. As a Sorcerer I use Overpowered a lot and was unable to use it last night after a good 30 mins. I was going to relog but meh was done in 20 mins so just stuck it out.

Today when I am playing I clear a bunch of stuff and I notice I am still not gaining any Ultimate. So I relog and kill a bunch more stuff, still no Ultimate gained. Then I also start to notice something else. I am also not getting any loot, then it also struck me that I did not get any last night after respecing but had thought that related to being in a couple public dungeons after my respec. I have tried relogging, I have tried changing Ultimates. Still not a single Ultimate point has been gained.

So far today after playing and killing stuff for well over an hour I have received no lootables and have not gained a shred of ultimate as I mow through groups of stuff in the outside while questing, I have not set foot in a Public Dungeon in over 17 hours.

Has anyone else encountered this? do not know if the loot thing is related to Ultimate or not because that seems really dumb, yet here I am.

Any chance you are killing mobs way below your level? If they are too far below your level you won't get loot drops and it's pretty likely that you wouldn't skill up either. Just a shot in the dark. Otherwise, submit a ticket and good luck. Hope you get this sorted out.

Also, no ultimate gain from killing lowbies.

Which probably is not your issue atm though.

Hmm in reapers march but am level 46. Was there before my respec doing same quest chains. I could very well see that being am issue with drops, and the reason as noted in my post stuff did stuff drop thick hides.

But I should still be gaining Ultimate, no? I was before for sure. Have not set foot in Cryrodil and only ran each dungeon 1 time for skill point. Have I really out leveled the content that much that nothing drops and no ultimate in whole zone? For shame!

Just killed a bunch of lvl 40 Atronaches at bottom of Reapers March and still nada. Ugh I was really not wanting to skip ahead but looks like I have to if 6 levels is too high for any stuff.

na you wouldn't gain ult either. I beleive its after you have outleveled mobs by 6 levels you stop gaining loot exept craft mats and ultimate.

I agree, it sounds like you're killing mobs you've out-leveled. Try finding some closer to your own level and see if you still have a problem.

Yea this is the reason. Kind of bites, mostly on the EXP is too easy to get cause I have not even tried or done Cyrodil. Basically I just hit a deadwall LOL. 6 days played kinda high for only lvl 46 I guess but a lot of that was spent crafting and reading the lorebooks and junk.

Now I am stuck with:
"Do Skip ahead ?"

"Or go online and cheat to find out if I need to finish quests for skill points"

Ugh.
