The game doesn't feel rewarding
I try not to pile on the devs because I know they work hard but something here feels unethical. If customers are valued, the product should reflect that. Rather, it feels like the customers are disrespected with a product that doesn't function, and when it does function it works in a way that rewards lazy play.
I have NPCs that are missing from my quests (I've put in a ticket through the game). Every night, the game crashes now. And there are builds in PVP that I can't kill wearing two damage sets yet they can hit me once and proc two effects that nuke my life-bar. What did I even spend years trying to be skilled at the game for then? It was a waste of time. And feeling like I've wasted my time is the big slap in the face as a paying customer.
I try to overlook the fact that old classes need to be updated while new classes that people have to pay to play are being added. There's enough in the game that can be expanded and deepened. And while good ideas come along (like leads to antiquities that can reward exploration) there's also the feeling that the game is only being expanded with the sole purpose of getting us to pay for the new thing. This again feels like a slap in the face.
The devs have done good things. When the old sets in the game were being adjusted and made more competitive, that felt good and made me excited to look at some of those sets again. I don't want to only point out the bad. It's just that the bad is so bad that it leaves me feeling like a fool for still being loyal to the game.
