Adding to the list of those begging for an authenticator. At this point Id be happy with a smart phone app for now like many of the other mmo’s have.
Sadly it took a bad experience to make me start waving the flag even higher. I was hacked. It wasn’t a bank bug, it was an outright hack, as my guilds bank were cleaned out too. I do know where I went wrong on my end and I have corrected this ten-fold.
However when I have 9 notices in my email between 1am and 7am telling me an unknown ip has attempted to log into my account, and then they did just that, its more telling you what is going to happen not just what was attempted.
I take responsibility for my part, but I think we will be seeing this happen to a lot more of your customers in the near future unless we can get some more security. I cant help but think you’d be spending a lot less man hours on an app then you will on dealing with the amount of customers who are needing expedited tickets due to hacked accounts.
