Like, I've known it happen that I manage somehow to corner an enemy player who's weaker than me in a one-on-one fight in the middle of a larger battle (with maybe 5-10 on each side), I do 90% of the damage to them, then they die to some kind of splash damage from someone else's AOE who wasn't even aiming at them, and I get no credit at all for the work I did even when I was the one who took off 90% of their HP.
