Game client hacked trying to report dungeon bots.

So I was running the Ondil dungeon against my better judgement, being so disgusted by the lack of effective countermeasures against bot farming that I don't even really want to play anymore.
Literally 90% of the players in there were bots, following obvious bot routines. Some stuck in the walls, some chaining 10 other random named bots behind them, and as always, half a dozen or more camping the boss. Anyone who says they are cracking down on this are on something.
Anyway, being the good Samaritan I am and not wanting to completely abandon this game and go back to FFXIV, I decided to take time out of my life as a paying customer, and hold ZOS's hand by doing their job and reporting these scumbags.
So I get close to them, hold the button for the interaction menu, and select "report player." Immediately my game client crashes and I get the bug report window!
I figured "no way, this has to be a coincidence!" So I logged back in, loaded up my character, and gave it another try. This time, all my controls stopped working. I couldn't even auto attack anything. I tried to do a /reloadui and the game client immediately crashed AGAIN!
So at this point, I am pretty sure the game client was being hacked somehow. So I ran a repair, which didn't seem to find anything. Afterwards I logged back in and figured I would give it one more try. Brought up the interact wheel on a bot, selected report player...
My controls were all locked out AGAIN! I did /reloadui and at least it didn't crash the client, but it didn't restore my controls either. I logged out of the game in disgust and haven't been able to bring myself to log back in since.

✭✭✭✭✭Before anyone gives me the /tinfoil write off here, my game is 100% stable outside of dungeons. I have a very high end system, all aspects being up to date including video drivers. I can do the most demanding content without a hitch. Something here is very not right.0 -
otomodachi✭✭✭I'm definitely not trying to say you're lying or anything, but another possibility is you're finding some glitch in the report player function that is expressing itself because of some other part of your circumstances in that dungeon, with x classes near you, etc.Edited by otomodachi on April 22, 2014 11:24PMWhat do you gain by criticizing a CSR complaint?0 -

Sihnfahl✭✭✭✭I don't think it's being hacked. It could, however, be due to a sequence in the username that's bugging the report feature. Can you whisper them?1

This is more than likely the case. Some combination of factors caused the bug.0
