    Aye.
With sticker books the ban can go. You have just reminded me when I get on to decon everything all this jewelry will be left, makes no sense!

ZOS made pre-Summerset jewelry not deconstructable to make sure there wasn't an unfair advantage, @SpiderKnight.

    That still applies today.

This and OP is specifically asking for that unfair advantage to be given to them.

Who has a stockpile of pre-Summerset jewelry large enough to give them a meaningful advantage 2+ years later? How large of a stockpile would a person need to have to posses an advantage over the tens of thousands of players that have already maxed out jewelry crafting?

It was a good decision then and nothing has changed that would make it otherwise now. If someone saved what they hoarded in hopes Zos would change course then I suppose they can keep holding their breath.

Of all the things Zos could spend time on this is an idea that is pretty low on the low priority list.

Sorry, @Mindcr0w, you and several others' attempts to minimize the issue doesn't work.

But what issue is being minimized? Like what advantage?

I can't actually comprehend any advantage besides the hoarders getting like a few 100k at max which isn't even a problem in this day and age. It's not like the rates for grains are super high and gold making is super easy.

Ok @Taleof2Cities, I call your bluff.

How about you provide a reason why?

Just saying "this doesn't work" doesn't mean anything if you don't provide any reasons why it doesn't.

Really? Nothing has changed that would make deconing old jewelry different in 2020 than it would have been in 2018? Nothing?

Yes, it would likely be more trouble than it is worth at this point. But is it justified for the reasons it was when jewelry crafting was introduced as Tales & you seem to be implying?

    Not even a little bit.

I currently have 10K platinum ounces and numerous platings of every color and more robust, arcane and healthy trait mats than I will ever be able to use.

How does the ability to decon a few more pieces of jewlery give me more of an advantage?
It wouldnt add significantly to the amounts of anything I already have so saying it will give an advantage is a dead arguement.

I already have the advantage of having a lot of mats simply because I have played since jewlery crafting was introduced.
Same as a veteran player will have an advantage over a new player in just about everything simply because they have been here and been playing a long time. A new player cant even use those mats yet because they have to go through the process to level the skills like everyone else did.

Clearly, nothing of any value to support Zos reversing their decision or your reply would have been more than just saying nothing.

Other people have given reasons such as not much jewelry left. You guys made the claim can't you explain?

Papa ZOS has made their decision, therefore it is the right decision?

I doubt it is a ban but more of a think that the items themself don't have the code to be able to be deconstructed.
