It's basically an exploit that was reported as a bug that never got fixed and eventually ended up being reclassified as a feature, to keep the maxdps and pvp people happy.
Sooo.... this bug sounds like they finally fixed it and everyone's mad because either a) their PVE DPS against dungeon bosses will drop by like 2k per second, obviously extending the fight into eternity or that b) victims in PvP no longer get instantly melted by a string of invisible attacks and can possibly actually fight back, exposing the ganker for the weak-sauce player that he really is.
Something like that, anyway.

So light attacks are not about 20 to 25% of your damage? Or are you one of these players with 10k DPS xD light attack weaving has been an official part of the game for years now..

I can barely use the disgusting new Crystal Blast morph on a stam sorc I am leveling. I am not impressed with that since it is such a pain to use, but I guess the context could be similar in that you want to do it before each attack, at least in theory.
