Every event that drops double nodes always excludes fishing, why?
You can only get one of the trophy fish for the achievement anyway so even double drops of them means nothing but an extra 250g for a blue fish.
Why can't we just get a fishing event or have double fish drops anyway. Encourage people to fish.

Poacher56✭✭I don't know if it has anything to do with the current event but last night I decided to wind down with a little fishing, odd thing is I fished 3 holes and only caught common fish and I've never seen that before, there is always a mix. it was very late so I went to bed after the 3 holes.. ✭✭Thrassian, before it was gutted, did encourage people to fish. It was a miserable experience. Pressing X, for multiple hours, while watching YouTube on my phone isn't really why I play this game.0 -

It also doesn't double bugs/moths/etc. and meat drops from deer and such.PC

✭✭Fishing minigame is totally halfassed in this game. Games like Minecraft do it much better. And activities related to fishing are almost nonexistent. Fishing should not be required because liking it is a matter of taste but it could take an update. Its a great and addictive time sink. What makes fishing sad, to me, is that I had more fun finding the fishing holes and scooping up resource nodes, chests, and thieves troves, than I did doing the actual fishing. Even the final reward for Master Anglers was a letdown. People tell you that you get a boat. Most never mention that it's some rinky-*** sailboat.
I've done two Master Anglers but won't be doing anymore unless ZOS improves things.0 -
omegatay_ESO✭✭✭✭If I remember correctly, during beta or before, fishing was much more rewarding, and a bit more difficult. In the end they really dumbed it down and made it what it is today. There reasoning, I think, was they wanted to make it relaxing.
ZoS could still make a few changes and make it more rewarding, then always fishing in Summerset for the bonus loot.0
