As I understand it must be two key as in HM. As I understand dlc 1 key pledges give 3.I was just about to ask something about Transmute Crystals.
The patch notes say:

I have done two Undaunted Pledges normal and both times only got one Transmute Crystal from the geode. So is it only Undaunted Pledges in veteran mode that give an increase?

With the increased control over our gearing and traiting options that the stickerbook provides, within two months tops 95% of the people complaining now that transmute crystal gain rate was not increased enough will be complaining that they are drowning in transmute crystals with nothing to spend them on and can we please get something new to spend all our transmute crystals on so all these transmute crystals aren't constantly going to waste?
Leadboard rewards for arenas and trials increased to 10 from 5. Random dungeon gives a lot now too.

When random dungeons are by far the best way to earn transmute crystals for players who can't stand PvP, they will cancel subscriptions or just not renew them to avoid getting slapped with DLC dungeons in the random queue.
They *need* to add a proper PvE source of transmute crystals. People who do group content are *not* the only people who want to use this system and that's been the case since it launched. Using it should *not* be locked behind group content, now more than ever. At a minimum, add transmute crystals (probably 1 per complete) to overland "group" content like world bosses, dragons, harrowstorms, and geysers.

Yes, i 10 on random is one of the very few times I say it was a bit too much.the wording of that note made me think crystals would be added to zone dailies, but no, why give an incentive to do these outside of big events
also what's the deal with RND giving TWICE the amount of crystals of a vet hm pledge? I can q as a healer while only slotting enchanted forest and get much more rewards for a fraction of the effort

The solution is to always have someone under level 50 in your group for random normals ...
I couldn't agree more.
Without more sources of Crystals, I won't even bother looking at the sticker book. I don't have enough crystals for the things I need to transmute on the 6 characters I have now (not even a fraction of what I need). I am not a grinder, I don't do content I do not enjoy simply for some virtual reward, never have never will. PvP, in all forms, falls into that "content I do not enjoy", so making it the better option (not "good", just better) isn't going to get me to do it, it's just going to frustrate me and that is usually when I go looking for another game to play.
It appears the drops are in development. I've yet to see a geode drop from chests, portals, containers, plunder or theft while running around exploring areas. I really hate feeling like I'm being increasingly pushed into doing PvP or groups.

"...also we're going to be tweaking some of the transmute crystal sourcing as well there will be some minor changes in update 28 predominately improving some of the PvE sourcing so right now it is definitely easier to get transmute crystals when you're doing PvP than PvE, we're going to improve the PvE a little bit and there might be some other tweaks and also we're investigating additional sourcing improvements for the future we're not ready to talk about those in detail right now but it is something we're looking at."
