This is the problem of all procs sets at the same time. To reduce that problem it is required to nerf all of such sets or change thier mechanics. Nerfing one single set just makes the game more confusing and encurage people discover more twisted builds that Im using to kill most of the WB without even moving.

Anyway I am standing in Hordrek's Hounting Grounds on PC/EU right now and having fun watching it. xD

Glad to hear you are having fun wearing proc sets and standing next to wb, slowly killing them from the procs. ZOS made the proc sets capable of doing this. Does not sound to me like you are the root cause, if there is a problem here.

More fun is people being confused. Im using such sets for solo PvE or PvP but I belive all sets at once should get some major mechanics change. I am really not fun of single nerfs becouse it is not a soluton. For now sets are too powerfull considering what class can offer yet changing one can make it worse. I belive there is no harm in killing boss this way but I belive it should not be possible at all. Yet Im using what I can to do not waste my personal time for some actions I do not want to repeat so many time to drop something xD

Items that can be dropped when you have to eat a dinner or go toilet, some EXP.

If your character is doing damage, fighting, while you are not actively controlling it then it is against the ToS. We are not allowed to use third party means to control our character. Doing so means the character is nothing more than a bot.

If this is what is happening it would be an offense that is worthy of being banned permanently.

Sounds like its more using passive sets that proc from taking damage, such as Storm Knight or Leeching Plate, to do sufficient damage to get credit for the boss kill while the few other players around do most of the work.

Looks like a thinly disguised nerf proc sets thread to me.

Why? Some low levels can use me as boss distraction and they do not need to be afraid that boss health bar will be restored when they die. ^^

Technically, when I have a dinner and watching Netflix Im restoring my resources so this is still tactical way of playing the game. ^^

Be nice to the newbies and at least pretend you can do it because you're such a skilled player.. It's only because you worked real hard to learn how to attack weave, dodge roll, bash and block with perfect timings, not because of some set procs...

Who said I am rude to them? xD I love to making fun of the game with them. I love to read thier whispers.

I am not a teacher and I am not a creator of so many proc sets. It is possible, fun to me occasionally, so why not? For now it is not confirmed to be forbidden by any ZoS staff member and I belive any new player will finally discover how this works. At least they'll avoid the vet arena farming problem.

Maybe they should do something about the WBs and their scaling for lvl 50CP160+ players... Proc sets or not, the base game WBs are useless against any higher level character... With enough CP it's like they're just trying to tickle you, not actually fight you.

I do not wanna talk about proc sets. This is not why I created this thread, I hope that some ZoS member will explain that for me to be sure becouse thier rules are very subjective.

Technically unless you're at least moving your mouse you should be timed out and removed from the game... So I'm not sure if you're telling the truth about watching Netflix and coming back after half an hour... I'm pretty sure I would have timed out on the server after x minutes of inactivity.

Don't see how it cannot be. He should time out like everyone else unless he's actively playing. Of course he could use a script to move the mouse or press a button just to keep it going... But like you say it would be violating the ToS.

If ZOS implemented an anti-camp measure to keep people from afk-farming Dolmens, I'm pretty sure they'd frown upon afk-farming of bosses as well, or any other content really, regardless of how you want to try and excuse it. If you don't put in the work, you don't get the rewards, simple as that. If you want the stuff then actually play the game. What's the point of even having the game play itself for you?

And as was mentioned, if you're really going afk for 30+ mins at a time, you'd be getting booted for inactivity, unless you're breaking TOS with something that's making in-game button presses for you while you're not actively playing the game.

I guess proc sets really are playing the game for us, then, in more ways than one...
