Shadow Dancer, which drops in Greenshade, is a magicka oriented set with sneak speed bonus. That's the best I can do, but Darloc Brae, although a medium set, is worth considering for sustain and radius reduction.

I know of those sets. What I'm after is this: my NB is a pure thief, that's all she does. Magicka NB and Vampire abilities are the best for me to use.

What I need is detection radius reduction but the only sets that offer that are medium with stamina bonuses (Darloc Brae only offers a little magicka regen and it's not the most helpful honestly). I need magicka.

I do have 4 pieces of Darloc Brae for the detection reduction and little bit of magicka regen but am stuck with stamina sets for the rest. So my magicka character has a ton of stamina and no where near enough magicka.

I am putting magicka enchants on everything and using magicka food but it's still tricky. A set that give magicka bonuses and radius detection reduction would be awesome and that's what I really need.

I've asked in my guilds and a lot of others, more than I'd have thought, also tried to find such sets, radius reduction but magicka bonuses not stamina.

Retraiting your jewelry to magic as well?

Personally, I feel the Darloc set jewelry should have dropped Arcane and Stamina based traits. Or included uncommon named items with the Arcane trait.

This is also what I use on my NB for thieving. I've not had issues running out of magicka, because you don't need to cloak that much.

Have you ever used the 5 piece while crouching? Darloc Brae gives my stamblade 1310 extra mag regen every 2 seconds while crouching (3 gold, 2 purple pieces), on top of the 744 regen I already have from passives. That's around 2050 regen every 2 seconds, while crouching, on a stamblade with 12k mag. Which allows me to more or less permacloak. I have all jewelry in stamregen+speed, but if I made jewely for mag regen, it'd be another 450-500 regen on top of that. 2nd set I use is Night's SIlence since that char is not a vamp, then Wild Hunt because it's fun. On a vampire, you can use whatever you like as 2nd set.

EDIT: If you want to sacrifice speed for regen, 3 mag regen on infused jewelry + 5 golden Darloc Brae means you have 810 mag regen from jewely, 1340 from DB + my passives, which for me was 744. That leaves us with almost 2900 mag regen on a redguard stamblade which that character is. Add a 2nd set with one mag regen passive and you have over 3k mag regen while crouching.

For a non NB, I can see the issue, but on NB cloak is your friend. Sure it's not very good in combat but DB in 5 piece is amazing for NB stealth play. I would never ever use only 4 pieces of it though since the 5 piece is what makes it one of the best non combat sets out there.

If ALL the character ever does is thriving then why worry about the set being oriented towards magical or stamina as it is pretty much irrelevant. Heck, even if you get attacked by an NPC they are so easy to defeat a magicka based character wearing stamina based armor could kill them in a second.

Because one full bar is vampire and that uses magicka. I've got the most optimal setup that I think is possible now but it's still not as good as it could be with a magicka set.

Food helps for mag regen. My theif eats red frothgar drink and uses the atronach mundus stone

Darloc Brae is absolutely insane for sneak builds. As a vampire with a little Regen you can basically maintain cloak 24/7

when you use Magic, it's very 'showy', which is contrary to being sneaky.

Detection radius works for players. The smaller your radius, the closer they have to be to see you. If people aren’t using skills/pots/gear to increase their detection radius or reveal hidden players, you can get right next to someone and still be hidden with the right setup, especially as Master Race aka Khajiit.

5 Night Mothers, 3 Night Terror got me through Blackheart Haven on my NB chest farming the old sustain Stam set...(cant remember name lol) I wish there was a Magicka equivalent...
