But they literally are. Load screens suffer, and so do NPC load times. Pets blocking view and access.... Besides, this isn't a "get off my lawn" thread, its a make dueling better thread. And part of what will make things better is preventing duels in city. And it is literally more than roughhousing. Someone dies in the end.... you win by killing your opponent...

First of all..... literally my first arena suggestion was starter zone arenas with nothing crazy... lol My side point is that it would be nice to have a "hard mode" for duels. Hence, some of these elaborate examples that can be easily implemented.

Lastly, the damage can be avoided, and as I stated, is entirely optional, so if you don't want the added mechanics, don't activate them or duel elsewhere. Some of us get a little bored of the same dance. Skilled or daring players can seek a challenge at these special arenas. Everyone else can stick to literally anywhere else, but hopefully, in my proposed scenario, they will seek out an actual arena. And evidently, they've considered these arenas once before: the private arena player home in craglorn???

And a duel is a duel.... any outside interference, players or environment, is just added intensity. Regardless, its still a battle between 2 players = duel. Anakin vs Obiwan? Did they "duel" in a controlled environment? The crazy environment is what made their duel epic.
