He basically just went on a bunch of tangents that had nothing to do w/ AOE caps. Then Gina asked if he meant he wasn't going to change them. Wrobel pretty much agreed, then rambled on and closed by saying "Adjusting AOE caps isn't something that'd we'd never look at, but we'd need a lot of time to get metrics for that."

Wrobel: I have never seen a guy so much up his own ass that he ignores the outcry from the PvP community.

As soon as there is a decent option for another MMO out there, I'm out of here. There are a lot of options coming on line this year, ESO is going to lose badly.

He basically said they are looking for ways how to spread ppl out in PvP, but are not convinced that remove of AoE caps would achieve that, so they have no conrete plans to remove them right now. Atl least that's how I understand his words.

Atleast the removal of caps would kill things that stack up on crown faster.

He admitted between the lines that this is something they don´t want to do though even if faster kills meant less lag. I think they´re greatly misjudging the situation their pvp is in.

That was the exact thing that came to my head.. back in 1.5 and earlier there were so many things that lowered the TTK of large groups, and that's what almost everyone wants back in one form or another. To me, the fact that he'd come out and say they don't want something like that back (and have been actively nerfing most of our defenses against large groups) shows they aren't / don't care to listen to us.
Ontop of that, they'd rather introduce stronger siege than remove AoE caps to increase "tactical" game play....
