On the PC side, it breaks TTC scanning at the bank. This is because the API no longer returns the guild trader kiosk and NPC name information. This forces someone in the guild to travel to the trader stalls, or stage and log-in alts at the trader stalls in order to update trading information. The net result of requiring the workaround means updates happen less often. It's minor. But the bug still needs fixed or at least some communication/acknowledgement they understand the issue.

This is the most annoying part of the problem for me, as a fairly casual seller. I like to scan the trader after I've added items so everyone's items show on TTC, not just my own (partially just to help my guild out, partially because I'm sure I'm not the only one who will go to a trader because they have one item at a good price, then check for other stuff while I'm there). But now I have to go all the way out to wherever the trader is to be able do something which used to be possible from any bank in the game.

I suspect it's affecting buying through TTC as well. A lot of items are returning far fewer results than they used to and I doubt it's because everyone decided to stop farming motifs, furniture plans and ruby mats (the items I buy most often) around the time the traders stopped showing in the UI. I suspect it's mainly down to fewer traders getting scanned for TTC and so fewer options showing. Since I have absolutely no inclination to waste my time making wild guesses at which traders might have the stuff I want if I can't find it on TTC I simply don't buy it, so the end result is fewer sales.

Have my sales suffered....? No, but it is an irritation having to constantly update people and tell them that the screen is bugged, or respond to questions in Guild chat. I am working my ass off to ensure that everyone is aware that we have a trader in our usual place.

This is the other part of the problem, from my perspective. I'm in two guilds which are primarily casual social guilds and have a trader when and where they can afford it. So it's not guarenteed that either will have one and that needs to be communicated to members so they know it's worth making an effort to list stuff to sell when we do have one. Without the info on the screen it means the leader and officers have to constantly let members know (again casual guilds, not everyone logs in every day) which wastes a lot of time and is much less reliable than having a huge sign on the guild menu.

One way they could fix it is to change maintenance to right after trader flip...

Well, and even the temporary post-maintenance "fix" is inconsistent and not a full fix.

PS4 had our maintenance yesterday morning. When I logged in, 3 of my 4 trading guilds had proper MOTD UI showing their traders. But one still shows as if no trader is hired, yet you can literally go stand in front of the guild trader that guild won and clearly see they have that trader.

I bid for one of my guilds. I've found the day after I place a bid, that one guild shows up for me.

1. You cannot enter the Brewery.
2. No quest starter in crown store.

I'm aware of that but we need to get some feedback at some point at least, this trader's issue is persisting for far too long.

It works for the GuildUI, but sadly, the Guildfinder is still not showing the traders.
I have hope that the flip tomorrow will fix it, since i've heard reports about the TTC scan working from Bankers again. So i don't panic yet

but will it be yet another
"here today, gone tomorrow"
