Dear ZOS, please stop making cosmetics outfits/parts with static dye channel.

I'm talking about Pentarch Vassal's Oathmask. Due to the dye channel of nose and mouth area being limited, I cannot edit the colour of that area.

I agree here that some particular swatches are locked into permanence while other pieces of the same trim have the option to dye. Now I have to include that color (which is usually generic and has no shine) into my creative endeavours with my outfits.

And as always, I love the Nordic Towel. More in that direction, please. Open books only.
    That's it, that's all.

It would be nice to be able to dye the fur and diaper of the Timbercrow Wanderer's costume, too.

I do like that mask, though. Don't mind the white.

Just adding to the first post since I can't edit. Eye area is static too.

This is what it would look like if I use colours other than black and white.

    Totally agree.

I cant stand how many gorgeous motifs/styles there are in ESO, which have sections that are a set colour you cannot change when outfitting.

This ruins so many great combinations. I've no idea why they persist in doing this, its hugely frustrating to anyone who enjoys the creativity and joy of outfitting their characters. For many of us this is a huge part of ESO and we dedicate time to it.

While I am here, I'll take the opportunity to highlight again some issues with the outfitting system, which is actually amazing in its variety, but with some notable flaws.

So, another constant issue for outfitters, is colours not looking the same on different motifs/styles. Again this is combination breaking, stunning outfits are ruined because the colours look awful. The think the non technical reason for this is that colours interact differently with the base "material" so to speak, and are displayed differently as a result.

The way around this is to allow players to actually set the base material as part of the outfitting process. This is exactly how Anthem does it, Anthem didnt get much right but my goodness they got the outfitting colours right. So any colour will look the same on any given material.

ps, totally unrelated... getting really annoyed with a USA spell checker telling me colour is spelled wrong. It isnt.
