Interaction?

Quoting from Community Rules: "We monitor the ESO forums on a daily basis, not only to read your feedback, ideas, and suggestions, and interact with you..."

I think the normal meaning of "interact" would include ZOS posting appropriate responses in threads that discuss issues that affect many players. Does ZOS have some other interpretation of the term?

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Well, it doesn't mean "respond to everything when, how, and as often as we want."

What it does mean, though not a complete list:
Posting and clarifying the official discussion threads
Letting the community know they're aware of certain major problems and asking for further info as needed
Checking on Support tickets and asking for more info as needed
Reminding folks to follow the forum rules
Sometimes answering questions, such as the recent clarification on Teabagging
Complimenting posters on their creative endeavors

Those are things I see the Devs/Community Managers/Mods do on a semi-regular basis.

I agree with Varanis that it does not mean Zos will or should respond to everything. Especially since some people ask questions that Zos has already answered. Heck, we received a thread explaining combat changes for this update. However, we did not receive the update on performance improvements for this update which would have only been the second time it would have occurred since Zos changed to a quarterly update unless it was intended to be hidden into the combat update.

However, even Zos has admitted that they are not that great at communicating.

Also have to bear in mind the community managers and mods aren't the shot callers.

If someone from the head shed says a topic won't get an official response....guess what happens next?

That said, they are still pretty darn poor at communication with the player base, still

I almost wonder id a certain poster is a mod in disguise. Is that a conspiracy theory? Yup. I'm really good at those. In fact, I am the queen of conspiracy theories.

Note: I do NOT have a horse in this race. But I do have an interest in fairness in posting.

There is a difference between having a dev respond and a mod or admin respond. Only 1 out of the 3 have anything to do with the game itself.

This was addressed in a previous thread, but any reference to it mysteriously disappeared. Perhaps a server crashed somewhere and data was lost.
