Trial mechanics adjustment in relation to Minor Major buff/de-buff changes?

There are some mechanics in trials that were dependent on usage of major minor buffs to overcome, some that come to mind are baneful burst in vCR HM execute and Cages on Lokkestiiz HM requires coordinated usage of major vitality and major mending to overcome healing de-buff it applies. Were those mechanics re-evaluated and will they be adjusted in accordance to new values?

    The same thing is Lord Falgravn's execute phase on hard mode. Even leaderboard groups had to put Gossamer on their healers to finish this fight.

    Major Evasion is getting nerfed from 25% to 20%.
    Minor Maim is getting nerfed from 15% to 5%.
    Minor protection is getting from 8% to 5%.

    I don't really want to calculate how much mitigation in total has been lost, but I am certain that things won't look good in this particular encounter.

    That's right I totally forgot that Gossamer got nerf last patch and is not adjusted this patch, so it got double nerf that nobody asked for.

    If people are saying that a specific adjustment will make a specific fight impossible... then that just illustrates how wrongheaded it is to benchmark anything to meta / "the ceiling".

    In a game where the fun is in options, you start running out of options or you can't see any other options.
    Then the only thing left is to ask the devs to nerf the content. If that happens, your achievement is worth nothing. It was a negotiation between you and the devs.

    Instead if there were a wider margin for success, everyone can say they had a personal involvement in choosing how they wanted to succeed, and to pass a goalpost that didn't have to be lowered for you to win.

    The biggest difference will be maim nerf, still there will be another source of major maim from new arena set and two tanks could keep 100% uptime on this.

    btw. new minor maim 5%+new major maim 10% is worse than current minor maim 15% :#

    they should have not nerfed defensive ones. and should have nerfed offensive ones as they can completely ignore mechs because of the high dps. it will be so hard to play tank nightblade now. am we already lost grim focus mitigation. now 10% from shade Minor maim is gone, and an another 3% from minor protection? . I wont be able to tank vet DLCs comfortably. hell, hard modes will be a no go.

    Well, I see light at the end of the tunnel and that is: Vrol set and Vateshran SnB.

    Vateshran SnB provides solid uptime of 77% on Major Maim. In combination with heroic slash you get to almost same boss damage reduction as before nerfs. And unlike Bani's Torment, all you have to do is drop your monster set.

    Vrol set got buffed and now applies 10% mitigation (Major Aegis) to whole group on single heavy attack for 12 seconds with a 21 seconds cooldown. With Jorvulds, your group can get to 80% Major Aegis uptime. And what's best, you can easily back bar it on your healer (jewelry + lightning staff).

    These two things should bring us to at least same level of mitigation if not better.

    So, if you find yourself in tough encounter, you may drop Roaring Opportunist (which has been paired with Jorvulds anyways), have your DDs put Master Architects and you can go with Vrol.

    100% uptime if used by both tanks
