First off Microsoft didn't kill Halo. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean its dead. Second, it looks like you play on PS4 as your banner shows so that leads me to believe you are still big on the whole console wars Xbox vs PS4 nonsense which probably means you hate Microsoft for that weird reason which lead you to making this pointless thread.

Thanks for that but you're making an assumption, which makes your post pointless. I played Halo before Bungie sold it to Microsoft and in my opinion, the game play suffered.

It's a good thing bungie doesn't have halo anymore. They are not the same old bungie they used to be. Destiny 2 has turned into a cr*pfest of recycled content, sunsetting and terrible peer to peer servers full of cheaters. The game is a mess.

Curious to know how you did that? Microsoft bought Bungie in 2000 and Halo was released over a year later in 2001.

Bungie sold the rights of Halo to M$, just look it up.

I did. They sold the rights before the first Halo was released, so there's never been a Halo game that didn't belong to MS. If you're referring to when development passed to 343 after Bungie separated from MS, Halo 4 & 5 broke previous release day/week sales records for the franchise.

    I'm in agreement.

I'm not worried at all right now. There isn't any reason to do so.

I am Groot, I am just curious but are you a PC or Mac user?

That is my question as well.

It seems like the majority of the microsoft naysayers are probably Apple fanboys.

I mean, I hate Win10 but I am not going to start using crApple out of spite lol.

What to think? Maybe it will get better for players, maybe get worst. Lets simply hope for "no change" scenario. I mean now at this passed week I enjoyed ESO more than in last several months. No major glitch, no monstrous lag, even more stable ping and higher FPS and even in Imperial City Prison was everything ok. Not perfect, but ok. If change of ESO owner will not affect that negatively, what can go wrong, right? No?

No one is spending 7.5 billion to burry or kill anything. I belive they gonna make ESO PvP finally working with Azure and Microsoft software quiality is much beyond what we experience with ESO. This is very good news in my opinion.

I played the hell out of Destiny and after the first season of D2, I left it for ESO. I jumped on D2 about 2 months ago just to see what it was like after Activision, still wasn't thrilled about it.

No they weren't. When they were bought, they had a market share of around 3%. While MS certainly didn't help Nokia's phone business, it was well on the way to ruin at the time MS bought them.

I doubt it. Microsoft has been among the more consumer friendly game companies out there (minus cdpr). This isn't EA or Activision guys. I think we'll be fine. No need to worry (yet).

Halo is what we call a zombie franchise it is selling, but only to the average npc gamer who buys whatever they see. To real fans of the game its been dead since Halo Reach.

"To real fans of the game its been dead since Halo Reach."

    Nice gate-keeping there. *rolls eyes*
