Need help recovering original forum account

Hi. I'm just back after an 18 month absence and I've been trying for several weeks to recover my original Iselin forum account.
The email I used for it is no longer active. All I need is a change to my new email address but trying to log-in in the forums always wants to send me mail to my now defunct old email address.
All that contacting support has done for me is send me a new invitation to join using this new account which I have accepted for now hoping I have better luck here recovering my original.
Can someone here help?
