How does the new Bloodthirst trait work in pvp?

So the new bloodthirsty trait gives up to 300 dmg again enemies, the lower their HP is? So if someone is 10% Hp , with 3x bloodthirsty, i do around 900 more dmg to them?

I only play BGs, if thats somehow relevant.

PS: Can i put infused of them and get even more wep dmg?

I worked this out the other day, when your target gets to about 47% it is already more damage than you get from infused. But obviously less "active". So best advice going is run 2 infused 1 bloodthirsty- all weapon damage

Edit: I think you are actually confused in your first post, they are both traits so you can't have both of them on the same item.

Keep in mind that bloodthirsty does not affect any of your healing skills as those are not used against an enemy.
Personally I'd say in PvP infused is superior simply because people are either at 100% health or dead. You rarely have fights were your enemy is constantly within execute range and still doesn't die.

speak for yourself..... I'm IC, 50% of the time my enemy dies in 5 sec, 40% of the time they stayed been 20-50% health, refuse to die, and slowly kill me in turn. the 10% were good fights.

So after testing this entire weekend, here is my synopsis; Bloodthirsty is the absolute way forward for PvP. I tried a mix up of both infused rings with bloodthirsty necklace...results were decent but I felt like my build was missing that "umph"...

So I went ahead and turned all 3 Bloodthirsty and Voila! Fire haha hits hard and if you think about it, it doesn't take much at all to get a target below 90% health. Usually happens within your first combo/weave. It's all gravy after that .

The days of chasing large weapon damage pools for PvP may indeed be over. Bloodthirsty is the way forward for PvP at least for myself.I encourage anyone else out there who is thinking of trying it, do absolutely do so. I'm not looking back.

I was wondering about this myself, so i did some testing and from what i gather from it was this.

If Bloodthirsty give 300-350 Weapon and Spell Damage against enemies under 90% health, seem that's the way to go. However, what i also notice is that it would be BEST to make your necklace+2 rings Bloodthirsty won't you won't notice the differences.

Infused give 51% if purple and 60% if gold, however this depends on the Enchantment you put on it, it's not the over all damage. You could put something good as a Enchantment and make it work, but from what i notice is that it's not as good unless you have all 3 infused. Basically it's just a stacking thing>

This is coming from a Magicka class character, i haven't tested it on any stamina classes yet. If i made any mistake, let me know i do love to know more and improve!

Excellent observation my friend! It looks like it really does come down to stacking one or the other. For the record, I didn't mean to make it sound like infused with either weapon/spell damage is now obsolete. Still very viable in PvP climates. Just now there is a choice which is excellent IMHO.

And for the record, I tested the new bloodthirsty traits out on my Stamina Sorcerer using Ancient Dragonguard, Essence Thief, and a wide variety of monster sets. I like to try and be on the cutting edge with my builds in PvP haha!
