ZOS delete detect pots

Detection Potions are a way to counter stealthy e invisible players. Even if they would delete Detection, there's still Magelight, that does the same. So...

    this false.

OP's request is just silly though.

Imagine if a potion existed that disabled any other classes primary defense. A perfect 1 click counter to any glass cannon, so shouldn't a perfect 1 click counter exist against the opposite? Where is my completely remove armor poison? Where is my sorry no dodge roll spam for you poison. Nah only nbs got to be counter able with 1 click.

It's not perfect. It's duration is short enough that a nb can simply run out the clock to avoid detection. It only becomes an issue when multiple people are trying to find the nb. For instance, if a nb invests in speed or as previously mentioned they utilize their shadow pet to teleport at opportune times then they can easily avoid detection. The pet is ideal when more than one person is hunting you. If the pot isn't used when one is right in top of a nb the nb might get hit a few times, but then leave the radius of the pot and make a clean getaway. When a detect pot is used you deny yourself the use of other pots. For instance, using a detect pot and discovering that you are surrounded by more than one nb. Now in this scenario the pot user is at a clear disadvantage.

Dodge roll costs more if it is spammed unlike shadowy disguise which costs the same each time. The two-hander ultimate is your one click counter to high defense.

    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

I agree the invisibility in TESO is the most missed, despite an interesting side of the thing, the invisibility time is ridiculously low (3 seconds) and have this fact detect every second, or almost every second, the detection is really too uneven for this class, I think that only "stealth should be detected, but not invisibility, otherwise it doesn't make sense!

The most annoying thing too is this stupid idea of auto spells that manage to wait for us while we become invisible...

3/4 of the people cry when you ask for a UP for this class, but they don't even know the complication it can have in gameplay, while other classes are abused in damage and without any specific effort or constraint, LUL the TESO community

I do believe cloak/stealth needs a counter, but the amount of NB hate crap I see on these forums is absurd too, all of you are bias. There is so much cheez in this game with certain sets/builds/abilities that ALL have access to, and you die to them all the time. But God forbid someone use one of these sets/builds/abilities out of stealth....DELETE NB!!!!!

Reminds me of the drone strike argument....kill one dude with a drone and people are protesting in the streets, kill 30 with a B-1 bomber and <crickets> lol.

Seriously some logical fallacies at work here.

ikr? same here. i mean OPs post is bad and he/she sounds unreasonable kinda but on the other hand cloak can get negated by a lot of things.

    ALSO

People always verse it with streak but once u use streak you teleport to far away and only 'counter' to that is gap closers. you cant still catch them since it stuns and some gap closers have wind up time so by the time you press gap closer, sorc goes away. Not to mention when you use gap closer on a sorc, only you teleport to them. your group get left behind.

Cloak on the other hand has a lot of counters and once someone reveals you, you are revealed to everyone. You didnt move far away or anything you are just near the zerg that chases you and you are without anything.

    So ridiculous people compare those.

    Most unfair feature ever

Hahaha, detect pots made our laugh group so many times during this event. Best were those titanborn nightblades and the bombers waiting at molag bal.

On a more serious note, cloak shouldn't be your main defence, shade should be. A good nightblade can make a whole zerg crazy with just good use of that skill and thus successfully 1vX them.

I don't use detect pots so I'm not sure about it, but can't you still force all projectiles to miss by activating Cloak while revealed by the detect pot? This is how it worked a while ago. Also, does it still suppress DOTs while revealed by the pot? Sounds pretty strong to me.

What's next? Remove AoE's since they pull you out of stealth? Remove magelight/expert hunter? No, leave the detect pots as is. They're consumables anyway and take a spot on your quick bar in PVP that could have something else like a Siege Weapon or healing potion.
