[SPOILER] Cannot defeat molag bal

Okay so I did it maybe 7 times. I just cannot defeat him.
Tried to change abilities, change strategy, I know what is he doing, nothing I just cannot beat him, comma.
Please, please can you help me somehow? I was even watching videos how to do it but I just can`t. I am avoiding his AOR killing minions, but I just always die its horrible and frustrating.
Please help.

SuperScrubby✭✭✭Can you explain where the failure is? Are you blocking his heavy attacks? Are you taking a lot of damage while killing his minions? When he jumps and comes back down are you staying out of his AOE?
Do you have a self heal on your skill bar?0 -

I am blocking heavy attacks
I am dodging his red AOE`s(every single one)
I have one stupid ability as sorcerer that heals me for almost nothing maybe once 15 seconds.
Then I die during or after summoned titans.

I beat him using a healing staff and like 2 ranged damage abilities. It ended up being a long fight 10 to 15 min to whittle him down but fairly easy.0 -
SuperScrubby✭✭✭The Titans he summons can be killed by normal attacks due to the "sacrificing" of the companion. It boosts your normal attacks. So you pretty much should 2-3 shot all the titans and take very minimal damage.
Also if you're running out of HP really quick then I would suggest using a resto staff as your 2nd set and heal yourself between.0 -

I am sorcerer but I use two handed and heavy armor. It worked well since this is ESO, until now.
So no I dont have sadly healing staff as well as skill points for it

Wrymn✭✭✭Get a heal staff, kite him around the pool.
I can`t believe the only way to how to defeat this boss it to use healing staff? No I dont want to use healing staff, this game is play th way you like. Why would be the only tactics to defeat the boss only to use the staff I dont even have skill points for? It doesnt make any sense. If it works that way than it should be either nerfed or kinda reworked.
I want to defeat him using my skills, my sword.

Kloaked✭✭✭Build up your Ultimate (make it a good AoE Ult for this fight) and save it for the Titans. Run behind a rock when he spawns them so they are forced to get close to you.

SuperScrubby✭✭✭I don't play sorc, but I've seen dark exchange heal pretty well plus add in some pots you should have more than enough self healing capabilities. Are your weapons and armor repaired and match close to your level?
If you're using heavy armor you should be around like 1300 armor with a weapon attack of around 110-130. I have a 2H DK with a tanky DD build and burned Molag down within 5-7 minutes using light attacks and spamming executioner when he got down to like 30% hp. Wrymn✭✭✭yeah nice but now when I get back to town I have to make entire quest from the beginning.....Because Zenimax just made it like this.
And what if I dont beat him even then? What>? So I can stop play because I just cannot continue??? Is this game really about it?
This is MMO, it cannot have bosses in main story like this that blocks your entire progress.
I`ve been playing MMOs for years, wow, EVE online but I have never seen personal blockade like this.0 -
Dalriaden✭✭✭Saving an aoe ultimate to burn down the titans will help a lot. Took me quite a few tries to get it, and finally defeated him with every piece of armor busted somehow -.-

SuperScrubby✭✭✭You don't need to burn down the titans with an ult. They die from your "enhanced" regular attack. Just use your light attack and they die really quick.0

If you're wearing squishy armor, the Titans and Molag will kill you quickly.

I tried, I use always my atronauch ulti or other ulti on them, But I always ether they from them or when they are dead and he summons the meteors
Btw I am using heavy armor have 1320 armor.
Even have dark exchange for healing as well as heal from mages guild line. No help I just die, I block I dodge AUO, nothing.

SuperScrubby✭✭✭Wait you just said that you tried to kill them with light attacks but then said you always use your ult. I'm saying don't use your ult and just use Critical charge and a couple hits and just rinse and repeat and they'll all be dead before you know it.
I fought Molag Bal twice last night due to him bugging out the 1st time. If you have 1300 armor then you should be taking virtually no damage from him physically because he hits like a joke. I guess at this point, I can't think of anything else since you're saying you're taking extreme damage with similar stats that I have when I didn't. I use my ulti in hard parts like those titans.
But I use light as well as heavy attacks.
How can i sopam critical charge when i get out of stamina. And yeah he just bursts me down after some time and since I dont have any direct heal I die.0 -

It wasn't hard. And it was fairly simple. But it's bugged so I can't complete it. Have defeated him three times and I just sit there at the end with the sword like an *** because, yet again, it's bugged.1 -
SuperScrubby✭✭✭2H has a passive that boosts your stam regen after each kill. If you don't have that the you'll run out of stam, otherwise it shouldn't be a problem.0

I use solely my destructive staff and keep at range at all times. The dragons are easy. You just block and volley their attacks and keep moving to avoid their breath. Simple.0 -

Reason I've done it 6 times is because of this stupid bug that ZoS hasn't fixed yet where I get stuck in Meridia's room.

I had this problem at first also and I could not figure out for the life of me what I was doing wrong, it seemed almost impossible and here is why. There is a bug, (yeah who would have guessed) where you appear to have the buff where you're shining gold but you don't have the defensive part of it.
I suggest relogging and waiting 15 minutes for the timer to reset, go in and do it again. I know this sounds weird but at first for me Molag was hitting me everytime for 300hp and after relog I was only being hit for 50hp or so.0 -

However i managed to kill him by wearing 2xhp regen+health rings+ drank hp regen wine and ate +max hp food.
After that the fight was easy.
Also its easy to kill the adds by blocking their fireballs, because it throws them back to them.0 -

I pwned molag bol........then pwned him a second time cause I bugged and had to repeat it all over again(the entire quest).....but I think they fixed this in the latest patch.0 -
LuthernSoul ShrivenAll you have to do is... block when the titans come down it reflects all the attacks they do so block and run around till they kill themselves
as for molag bal grab the mages guild dot/hot keep it up and run around using a bows basic attack might take a bit but you really can't die ... at all if you block his ranged attack his melee will never get to you1 -
tyakaar✭Did it with a Sorc. With the right tactic its quiet easy. Get both Pets out (the flying one morphed to heal). Get Impulse for the Adds. Just spam them down. Get Dark exchange to refill your magika.
For Molag Bal; Just use crystal shard and when he gets below 20% spam mage fury. Make sure however that you always got enough magika to resummon your pets. so attack with RMB too.Edited by tyakaar on April 22, 2014 12:52AM0 -
