You can also do IC group dungeons (PvE)... and final boss will drop event tickets & IC coffer.

Forced if you want the daily tickets.

Maybe I am wrong, but I recall the dungeons being ones that killed me taster than getting ganked on the PvP quests. And that seemed to happen quickly most of the time in the recent Mid Year event.

Well given last time it was pvpers targeting pvers to the point of bringing entire zergs to the one most populated by a particular alliance of mostly pvers and taking all the spawn points then camping it so any who came out would be killed off well...and the forums were full of pvpers bragging about how they'd kill off all the pvers and one even saying they'd keep killing them till they don't come back...yeah. This won't end well.

It's amazing how entitled some players are. It's a pvp and pve event. For players who can't clear these easy dungeons on normal there is also the crown store.

I'm just a PvEr, but I look forward to the two PvP events.

If you don't want to go to the Imperial City to collect Tel Var because half of it will get taken away from you each time you're killed by a PvPer, then go to do a quick IC daily and leave ASAP.

And if you do happen to get any Tel Var, and then happen to get killed and lose half of it, there's no real loss, since you didn't care about the Tel Var anyway, right?

I mean, it's true that the PvPers will be out in force, making it tougher to complete a daily.

But some of those PvPers are going to belong to the same alliance as you, and they'll be going after players from the other two alliances, so they'll help make the district a little safer for you. o:)

If you cannot clear normal white gold tower its high time to check out some guides. I´d imagine that for you a few minutes spend reading would be worth not going into PvP since you really dont seem to like it.

Funny thing is last event I managed to kill a share of them before they started full on zerg raiding and spawn camping. I even got a few hate whispers. Thing is I think a lot of them came there expecting an easy kill on pvers then when they get killed it pisses them off so they got to bring more of their buddies. One kept trying to gank me he'd attack me almost die go invisible then rinse repeat till I managed to kill him before he could go into hiding again.

    Hahaha, so typical.

Was fighting in a BGs Land grab match some days ago.... There was a NB that the only thing he did was cloaking and spamming poison injection, which triggered two very powerful carry set dots with instant proc (wont name the sets so the plague doesn't spread xD ) that dropped my birdy bow NB's health (no extra critical or other resistances and I rarely go stealth) to 10% in secs and then came close in stealth and spammed Surprise attack. I mean, there was no skill from his side, only carry sets that did 90% of his dmg with their dots. So, when he killed me, he came over me and tbag me for no apparent reason, maybe he was pissed because I killed him.... Next time I killed him, I went and tbag him too. And then he whispered me calling me names and that I was a useless player :D . Said who? The guy who fought with 2 skills and let his sets do the job.

This toxicity is very typical in ESO since it's filled with immature kids. Just put them in your ignore list.

There are a few days left until the event starts and the gank fest begins. Your best bet is to use this time to do all 6 IC dailies on 2 characters, so you're good for 12 days of event tickets, just hand in one quest per day.

On PC/EU no-cp IC is mostly dead all times, so it's really easy to do the dailies there, esp. in off hours.

If you're purely pve, don't bother about a pvp build. If you get spotted by a pvper you won't have a chance either. Get some invisibility potions and, if you can, some way to move faster in sneak (like ring of the wild hunt or vampire passive), but you can also do it without. Try to sneak from one objective to the next.

If you get killed go back to the base and bank your Tel'Var before continuing. If you want to leave without being killed, queue for a Cyrodiil campaign that's not pop locked.

Even better, get some friends and do the quests together.

This. From what I've read only one extra berry will be available during this event, so we won't even miss a chance at the current indrik by ignoring it. Unlike the previous PvP event (Damn you ZOS! I want my event tickets for 2 useless berries that I purchased in good faith back!)

Good advice but you can get 13 days of rewards and tickets if you manage to get it before the cut off on the 15th.

Be safe and have fun :)

At least one good thing about the event having imperial city prison I might be able to get a group together to get lord warden in the right size I did it on vet with some friends to get one the helmet which we got for them and I had a drop for it but in heavy. Need to redo it in vet to get it in light for my tank toon. Hell even medium would do to get the Undaunted passives.

Do the Dungeons. Unlike Midyear Mayhem, you actually have a PVE-only option to get your tickets.

    [snip]
How exactly is that ZOS' problem?
    Watch a tutorial
Practice your PVE ability at healing, tanking, or damage dealing
Ask your guildies to carry you

You have a legitimate PVE-only option.
[snip] Seriously. If you actually have to fight, PVP is loads harder than a normal WGT or ICP run. Time to buckle down and practice your PVE if you want to avoid PVP.

[snip] do your dailies on alts BEFORE the event starts and then you only have to turn them in from the safety of the base during the worst of the crush.

There's nothing to complain about, honestly. All the rewards can be gained through PVE, nothing is exclusive to entering IC.
Whether that'll stop people from complaining is another story. :D

Just giving myself a pat on the back for calling it, don't mind me.
Anyway, if you find yourself incapable of both IC quests AND a normal dungeon run, use group finder. Lots of OP folks will be queuing for normal White Gold Tower to rush through ASAP so you can lean back and enjoy the ride.

You get those two dungeons because those are the two from the Imperial City (free) DLC pack. And this is the Imperial City Event.

ALL the dungeons are the Undaunted Event, and I'm sure ZOS' Marketing Department appreciates keeping the events distinct. And I'm not sure that opening the event to all dungeons would give any more variety, as I'm sure a large amount of players tend to get their Undaunted tickets from their Daily Random Fungal Grotto 1.

That being said, which dungeons would you want added to the Imperial City Event?

    Do the dungeons.

I enjoy PVP. I enjoy PVE. I consider PVPVE atrocious. The idea of PVE where another player can come along and ruin my progress seems mean-spirited and cruel to me.

So I'll be doing the dungeons. Problem solved.

You can't suck at PvP when you are not able to play becouse of lags. Even with very good PC and Internet speed beyond any game needs this game is not able to handle PvP as it should be. To survive PvP you need to be god of patient, drinker or an absolute ESO maniac. You can all lie to yourself but this is just the truth about ESO PvP. It is really low quality part of the game.

I guess it's a choice between longer and repetitive dungeons vs six quests that have the potential to be way more exciting than you want, including getting roadblocked by enemy players.

It's on the players to determine their tolerance for boredom vs risk. If I hated PVP, I'd do the dungeons, repetitive or not.

You can do quests in imperial city before event, then return them day by day in Alliance base in sewers. Or run dungeons for the tickets. Perhaps there will be more campaigns opened, like last time, so each was dominated by one colour zerg doing quests and boses. 👌🏻Fast and safe
