Another forced PvP Event So Soon?

As a player who runs throgh IC frequently, im worried about the value of Telvar stones. The rising amount of stones paid out, could lead to a price drop on telvar items if there are no actions taken.

So please don't get angry if you're going to get bombed, it's just about business.

IC is a bad neighborhood, with all those Daedra running around.

But enemy players, both singly and in groups, often do attack groups of 6 or more during these events. I'm not sure if they're expecting everyone in the group to be a wimpy, knee-knocking n00b and think the fight is going to be a pushover, or if they're hoping for a long, protracted fight with capable PvP vets ("Finally! Some decent action in IC! Woohoo!"), but it happens.

We don't even have the Cyrodil dailies to give other chances for a daily quest.

I am sure this will make many PvP players happy as the have lots of targets. Why fix the bugs in PvP whe. You can generate lots of easy targets instead?

Reward can also be found in the PVE dungeon white gold tower and imperial city prison

To be honest only having two dungeons is kind of just meh. And I've done pvp stuff myself the only one I enjoyed was battlegrounds the zone pvp I found meh.

Its only 2 dungeon as its the only 2 that were released with the imperial city dlc which is the one celebrated during the imperial city anniversary event

Do it on 18, now, and just log into their base during the event

Personally, I’m a completionist so I have to have them all. With the new pathing I’m envisioning a Hunter’s Glade full of Indrik mounts and non combat pets roaming around. But my favorite is the very first evolved one, the Dawnwood. Only sadly, I did not understand at the time about the pet so it’s the only one of the pets I don’t have. My heart will break if they don’t give us another chance to get that pet sometime, because I am, you know, a completionist.

@Pandorii - I think this is going to be the Crimson Indrik. And this may be the last one - they really haven't said yet. And just because they had all the berries during the New Life Festival last year doesn't necessarily mean they'll do that this year.

I'm done getting indriks now, except for a nascent on each account both megaservers. Just need one more feather each, which I will wait to get during Witches Festival (around Halloween generally). Not sure what they might replace indriks with if they don't have any more of them.

I guess we'll find out eventually!

Best thing is to do the daily quest or all 6 before event starts on 2 or 3 chars like now through wednesday,and get enough turnins saved so you never have to do anything during event but pop in turn in and get tickets.

Ah there it is.... The entitled pve player comolaining abouy ic event.... I was waiting for this one to pop up..... You know you do not have to go to ic.... You can the the 2 dungeons instead and yes they are super easy and this is coming from a pvp playsr who rarely does any dungeons..... So please stop complaing for once in your life

And there it is. I was waiting for this too. Another entitled PvPer complaining that no one is allowed to not like being shoved into a ganking zone, one built just for that!

1. Does this mean I get to cry about every PVE event ever if every time there's a PVP event (Or even partially PVP event) it garners whining every time?

2. Seriously, do the dungeons. On normal, they're not very difficult and very forgiving if you ignore veteran mode mechs.

3.Sure, easy targets.. but with the state of PVP performance.. especially with a bolstered amount of players.. I fear the word "performance" will become a prominent issue.

I mean the game is mostly pve focused....if anyone didn't like pve I'd wonder what they're doing here. The PVP zones are laggy and not that enjoyable for me at least. Battlegrounds can be fun but that's about as far as I'd say is actually fun pvp side. I mean I'm sure there are games far better with competitive gameplay and are more focused around that. Not to say that people can't enjoy pvp just that the idea of someone playing ESO who doesn't like PVE when that's like...most of the game.

Personally I want events that are more interesting. I like Jester's, Witches, New Life for a bit of something different to stuff we'd do normally but even they get repetitive. I'd like events that are doing something different and also changed up so it's not just doing the same old. Like even zone events are just really repeating the same dailies and add nothing new other than the rewards.

He's probably mad because the quick way to get the tickets are in a PvP zone and the safe PvE way is slower.

The fact is that it is an IC event, says it right in the name. You can't expect to get rewards for doing activities in Summerset just like when its a Summerset event you get rewards for activities there and not in IC

The people that do actively farm Imperial City do not like these events. It's more randoms coming in and getting a few hits on the boss and reducing their TelVar intake. Sure, you can find some more people running around to kill, but the people farming IC aren't there for PvP, they are there for the TelVar and buying Hakeijo/Alchemy mats.

umm. yeah. they will. they wait for stragglers and pick them off one at a time, then go back into stealth. I've been a victim of ganking like that and the worst part about it is that the zergs that get trailed like that are more often then not so intent on speeding through that god help you if you don't keep up. you don't get to finish your quests either if its rng drop based, cause the moment lead is done - they move the WHOLE group.

and even if that zerg is not of that inconciderate variety, picking up people who lag even a little bit behind - still happens. gankers LOVE that, cause someone who is a part of the zerg - has a good chance of having killed some bosses and built up tel var.

I would genuinely suggest that if you would rather not go the route of saving up quests and avoiding IC all together (fair enough) try pugging WGT. it really WAS nerfed multiple times. severely. it goes pretty quickly and easily on normal nowadays. prison is still a slog, but WGT is very VERY doable. it doesn't feel like a DLC dungeon at all at this point.
