When is a patcher not a patcher?

According to my patcher I'm up to date. According to the game every time I log in my client is out of date or invalid and I need to run the patcher to update it. Since the patcher thinks I'm up to date this does nothing. End result - unable to log in, long research runs finished and new ones unable to be started. Not a happy camper.

Horribus✭No, when the patcher errors were hitting earlier rather than delete version files I ran the ESO exe file from the directory. Didn't want to mess with the version files.0
