Yeah those of us who were on the pts left extensive feedback, @Cinbri probably did the most.
Sadly the devs didn't pay attention/care/had the time to make adjustments.
Wait, the stack only last one second? I thought that you would proc it after the 4th hit and that's it. Are they *** insane?
At first i didn't care because i thought the server remembered the stack you were at previously and as soon as you hit 4 you would get the proc, but now, i think it's just ***, like wtf, these people are not devs.
I went away since greymoor, returned today to farm out some medusa just because and this is the news i get?

Holy ***. This is crazy.

I mean you look at the change at its core its reasonable, they wanted to remove the % chance, which is fine, getting back to back burning light procs could delete someone very quickly, and from what i understand this change reduces server calculations wich is fine.
Unfortunately they simply didnt think the change through, they tought that it would be fine to have it proc pretty much only from jabs.
And even then the 1 sec duration on the stacks makes 0 sense, as even the smallest delay can screw it up.
@Cinbri had a short clip of him spamming javelin on cooldown on the pts and beacuse of the ping, burning light didnt proc on the 4th.
What about blazing spear. From the notes it should tick frequently enough to proc BL. However, my parse has dropped by 3K regardless.

Thats in PVE, and i did some dungeons on magplar yesterday and when you recast your blazing spear, even if you time it perfectly you will lose your stacks, beacuse of the delay between casting the skill and the spear landing.
Maybe theres some perfect scenarion where you time it absolutely perfectly and you dont lose your stacks, but i doubt its feasible in actual dungeon/trial scenario.
Regardless 1 second is way too unforgiving.
It's opinions like these that bring nerfs. Most people use Templars as healers... They aren't overpowered, they're low tier after DKs...WARchief10K wrote: »Templars are overpowered anyways, so bringing them back in line with changes that aren't needed is fine with me.

Very constructive arguments. Can you explain what aspect exactly is OP?WARchief10K wrote: »It's opinions like these that bring nerfs. Most people use Templars as healers... Templars are overpowered, bringing them back in line with changes that aren't needed is fine with me.

Burning light was actually buffed, as they removed the RNG component from it. Instead of proccing on 25% of each hit (so potentially never with bad RNG), it will now proc on every 4 hits aka literally on every jab you do.
The DPS is now the about 1.5k higher for me (around 9k total on trial dummy) than in Greymoor.

People do not tend to stand very still in PvP......

Why are Templars constantly nerfed? Is it to promote Wardens as healers? Most people only Templars for magicka dps/healing anyway... Why nerf tanking and stamplars to the ground?

Magblades would like to know your location
Wardens don’t have a good burst heal in their toolkit

It certainly does account for the loss in that case. Thanks.

He is doing this on purpose not sure why, no one believes vines only heal for 1.4k, and btw vines also come with a decent hot like effect too. Same with arctic blast/polar wind.
Pretty much anyone with half a brain knows that wardens have way better healing in pvp than templars, in fact warden has probably the highest self heals of all classes.
Templars restoring like tree doesn't even have a decent heal over time.
Anyway this thread was about templars nerfed offensive capabilities, and not healing.

Talking offensive capabilities did you try out purifying/potl? Dont have access to ESO right now so I cant test it myself. Still worth slotting?
