My game produce sound like I miss some loot

Hi, this evening some bug hit upon my game client. You know that sound when You loot or by click E and miss gather material, well that sound is just dinging in my game. Whenever I attack someone here it goes ding, ding, whenever I gather or loot ding several times in a row.

Deleted all addons, vanilla game and problem still persist. What could that be?

Game is giving me that annoying sound, it is the same sound like one that signals full inventory. I really dont know why. Just happend suddenly this evening.

I have the same problem like you for good 2 Days now.
Funny thing is, the Sound Bug exists only on my Dragon Knight,
with my Nightblade i have not such problem's...

I have also Vanilla Version and tried to get rid of it by respec, but it didn't work.

No idea what to do, maybe i just reinstall the Game, but with the huge download, meh...

I just did that mate. Made 5 dk and finish kenthari roost, went to auridon, do come quests and sound issue appear. Maybe its some ability but it is really annoying.

I wrote them tickets 5-6 days ago, never got response. And I didnt that problem in betas. Didnt had it before that 1.01 patch. Funny thing is that they say 1.01 went live but my client was 1.09 and something.

Today I decided to play again from scratch dk and guess what happend when I got to Auridon

It is destroying my game experience totally. I have decided to install win7 and ofcourse i deleted game and must download it again. But really if this happens again then I dont know what may cause this problem.

They just wont help us. CS is ignoring. Dont know what to think of it anymore.

Patch 1.02 did not fixed the problem, still annoying error sound all the time while fighting. Strange no one write anything about this, seems like not many have this issue. What Sound Card you are using ?

I have this happen on my DK also. I get the impression it is caused from the DOTs and self healing they can give. I find it usually happens after I kill a target, and the DOT is still burning and trying to heal me with it. But it can't as the target is dead, thus the annoying "error" sound occurs.

I am using asus xonar dg and you?

I really dont know why no one from CS even try to ask something about this. I created couple of tickets and never got an answer and now system reinstall and downloading the game will be in vain because apparently problem persist.

I made this video today just before system reinstall. Created 4 or 5 dk and same sound appears. I made another thread but nevermind, zenimax will not respond on either.

I think You are right about those dots. I did whole system reinstall and re-downloading game and when I have morphed searing strike to burning embers that sound beggins. I try without burning embers and there is no that annoying sound.

Now I dont know if that is what suppose to be like that or it is a bug but its definetly due to burning embers ability.

Can You guys also try it and tell me if there is that sound if You dont use burning embers and when You use it?

Yes it's burning embers. Basically when it reaches the end of it's timer it tries to heal you from the target but it's already dead so it gives that default "you can't do that" sound. VERY ANNOYING. I have posted a few times to please fix this. I hate annoying sounds that happen after every fight. All you can do is avoid using Buring Embers until it's fixed or respect.

Yes, I can confirm it is burning embers. I hope this fix this bug soon, it's annoying.

Burning Embers gives this annoying sound on my dk, and Crystal Shards on my sorcerer. It's driving me nuts. Any way of changing the sound to something else, or make it silent?
