i thought abuse, hate words, hate messages were a thing mostly in pve?So we PVE players should all look forward to many hours of hideous abuse, name calling and toxic insults one EACH character just so we can actually travel about at a decent speed on a new character? Who thought this was a good idea?
and its hilarious to call out on zos because they secretly wanted to sell more riding books, cuz you know everyone has 17 chars that SOME REASON need rapid manouver.

They could have just added Rapids as the first unlock in the Soul Magic line, but noooo ....
PvP, dungeons and trials are the primary activities of this game, making alts and roleplay are not, that's why we get new dungeons and trials every patch. The majority of players create characters to actually achieve something in the game, no wonder the devs would make stuff convenient for them. Hanging out in Riften inn is irrelevant to any progression in the game.
Its primary activity is -everything the game has to offer-, as all are, at some point, tied into each other.

You said it yourself. Everything is interconnected. You can't really cherrypick, you want Rapids, work to get it.
Personally I do every activity provided by the game (not the players). I have 9 toons and even my tank and healer are at Support 6 for Barrier. It's one of the most valuable skills and it happens to be in a PvP skill line because again, PvE and PvP aspects of the game are interconnected. It is a good game design.
I just went to cyro and got it, it's not that hard even for a PvE tank. You don't even need to go to cyro, just lose 12 BG matches and reach your level 5. Either way is about 2 hours per character.

Yes, that is exactly what the good game design is)

You're playing 12, 15 minute long BGs (and the queue time in between), in 2 hours. Math doesn't check out.

1. No need, I got you covered. It's a 30k group damage shield for 30 seconds, that also heals the group for about 15k over 15 seconds. It is useful for soloing world bosses, doing 3DD vDLC runs, PvP group raids and is also an essential support character skill. Ah, and it requires 188k AP to unlock.

Most matches end in 7-8 minutes and the queue in prime time is never longer than 5 minutes.

It is such a minimal effort to get to the needed ranks in Assault. I never cared which was first had both anyway in less than 30 minutes.

Before if I wanted vigor, I had to work to get it. I didn't mind that. But why should I work to get something again that I already had, while receiving a skill practically free that I do not want nor need on my magica characters? Your logic makes no sense, and you seem to be ignoring the fact that the changes are unfriendly. Why do you think people shouldn't have to work to get vigor, but should have to work to get a skill they already had?
I also do every activity provided by this game- along with RP. I consider it to be a part of what my characters do, and many roleplayers are the same. I enjoy them. But I don't enjoy having skills stripped from alts that need them that make things like going to cyro easier in the beginning, and I have every respect for those who have no desire to set foot in a BG or Cyro to get something they already had....for years.

As I mentioned in the other "OMG Rapids" threads - I've been playing since 2016. I've got 8 alts. I've never used Rapids. I've only rarely seen people using it in PvE (like when a crowd of people were running to a Jester daily, and one person pulled ahead, for instance). Until these threads popped up the last few weeks, I'd never seen people talking about how Rapids was Absolutely Necessary For PvE & Alts.
Feels like it came out of nowhere. /shrug

LMAO, tried Cyridoll on one of my alts. This is how it works, see a fight try to run it now, miss fight, see another fight try to run, miss fight, repeat as necessary. Now I have to wait at a location and hope the fight happens there. Ya wonderful change O.o
Let's see how the defenders of change will sing when there is always a crowd of noobs on their side.
And they will simply because they need this skill.
