SKILL : Provisioning, starting later

So has anyone found out how to start Provisioning if say you are level 25 and not a recipe for level one in sight?

My friends and I discovered this issue over the weekend where only some of us had started provisioning as we levelled but some hadnt done any and are now 20+ Rank...

So the question is what are our options?
Is there a NPC to buy the initial receipes from?

In other MMOs you ould go to a NPc in each city a "CHEF" and pay for the initial training book and then get the receipes and learn them..

I found that if I go back to the starter areas, I'm able to find the starter ingredients I need for those recipes. I haven't noticed if the recipes that are looted scale as well.

It seems to me like every player should get a very basic, crappy recipe for each level that can be used to level up with, then the looted recipes would just be better versions.

Go to the bank in your starter zone and start opening everything. You will get plenty.

You can learn any recipe anytime you find them in drops, chests, urns etc...

Funny, pact bank areas dont have openable containers.

you can ask in chat while in a town if anyone has some recipes you can have. I get them all the time on all my characters and since most I have, green, I just sell them to vendor to clear out the inventory.

These are really not worth selling so you should get all you can handle fairly easy.

guild store and bank are always over following with them.
Also go to each area main town say starter, then the lvl 10 area, lvl 20 etc in towns loot everything.

It's pretty easy (but also tedious) to grind recipes.
Find a building with lots of containers such as dressers and cupboards, loot them all, log out, log back in, loot all the containers again, rinse and repeat.
In time you will have every recipe for that particular area.

I have a few guildies that are low level that want recipes, so I run around starter zones & mop up containers in the world and in any building I can get into.

Ofc you can buy the recipes from other players, but can you actually go back and find them at higher lvl if you didn't save the ones you found while lvling?

I don't have this issue, since I have lots of alts AND I save/learn everything that I get while lvling even if I am not actively lvling that prof atm. I did however notice that the recipes that I get from looting the cabinets/trunks and so on seem to scale with my lvl. I may be wrong, but I never get the lvl 1 or 5 provision recipes anymore on my lvl 18 char - even when looting the containers in for instance the Vykhul Guard bank, which I do several times a day. I do get them on all my alts that are from lvl 3-5....
I do get ingredients for lvl 1 recipes and up to lvl 15, but here it seems that ingredients also scale in their own way. I never get higher lvl ingredients (lvl 10 and up) from the starter cities on my lvl 3-5 alts but I do on my lvl 18.
