I'm against any form of progression being available for purchase in the Crown Store. However, that is a better way of appeasing the instant endgame crowd than pandering to them within the game and trivialising the content for everyone else, such as making everything account-wide.
Even if they added it to the crown store they would probably still make you level your class skills and then you still have to level your armor/weapon skills so you would still end up at the dolmens for awhile anyway with your now CP level character.
One can level quickly to 50 if they focus and stick to main story quests. Zos already gave us the ability to purchase everything else as long as we have earned it on a character already. Granted, it can get costly but one can buy it.
I don't get the mentality behind rushing to endgame stuff...
If you've never played the game, buying a fully maxed toon is pointless because by the time you've actually learnt how to play you could have leveled a fresh toon.
If you've already got a max level toon, then you should know how to effectively level and (if you're like me) are probably neck-deep in XP scrolls.
As others have said, if you're getting bored, do something else. Run public dungeons, delves, dailies, skyshard hunt, psijic quests, lorebooks....there's sooooooo much you can do, and you'll want the skill points and wayshrines unlocked at some point anyway. I tried the old Alikr dolmen grind once and lasted about half an hour - it was one of the most boring, mindnumbing, game-ruining things I've ever done. Even Spellscar farming is more exciting, at least you die occasionally and need to....you know, use skills. Fight. Use skills. Play the actual character.
Whenever I see people wanting to power level via dolmens, skyreach etc I always wonder...do they actually LIKE playing the game? Because they seem to be trying to avoid playing it as much as possible.
