Low Level Provisioning Materials in Veteran Content

I haven't seen this on known issues, I know its not the end of the world since you can buy the materials but this is either a bug or its intended, I haven't seen a comment either way. I raised a ticket (as im told many have done) with no response.
Is this something that is going to be resolved or should I expect to spend gold instead. (I wont have an issue really until Vet5 when the next set of food is far better than the level 45 stuff im using at the moment. Its a real shame as I enjoy looting crates but the stuff is useless (and with not getting the zones low level recipes its totally useless).

Even if its locked I will know they have seen it, with no response to tickets this is my only recourse to get an answer, this is the customer service forum after all.1 -

Terminus✭✭✭✭✭I strongly support changing the ingredients that spawn.
Alchemy doesn't have this problem, you're guarenteed to loot a VR1 or 5 solvent from the world, so why should provisioners be forced to search through all sorts of junk to find what they need?
With my luck, they'll read my post and make us more likely to loot junk solvents...2 -
Arwyn✭✭✭First reply is that I cant loot vet level mats in low level areas, I have now explained im in veteran zones. I wish they did these chats ingame and not via email. So far the impression im getting is that it isnt even a known issue.....1

LadyDestiny✭✭✭✭✭I think more spawn points everywhere would be a good idea. With all the bots camping the sites, I have not had a good run in a few days even finding aspect runes. Seems like they just went poof out of the game.....1 -

✭✭✭✭I bug reported it a while back already. It's weird but in patch 1.01 they fixed the reverse. They fixed a problem where low level players were getting high level provision items.
In the mean time, ignore all the Crates and Barrels, but not the produce baskets and furniture. Those items can still give high level recipes/itemsEdited by Armitas on April 21, 2014 3:57PMRetired.

Arwyn✭✭✭I have spelt out the issue as clearly as I can in my ticket, the instant response I got last time has now slowed so hopefully theyre investigating, I am very disapointed that no dev responds to threads here, being in the customer service forums its concerning.
Such a great game that seems to be being let down by support.
I know theyre fixing things and I have confidence they will fix this but so far they dont seem to even know about it which is maddening!
Its changed my gameplay somewhat too, all the previous zones I would explore more in the direction of crates etc now I dont

✭I'm troubled by this too, having to travel to a lower area just to get ingredients is getting pretty annoying, I hope they fix it soon!0 -
Arwyn✭✭✭Reply from Support today, following the extra information I think they understand and are now looking into it. I informed them about the food and drinks also being low level and also that the veteran potion materials (waters) were always veteran level so something must be wrong.0

Not only the provision items. The potion bottles which you find are also low-level ones in the Vet areas.0

Arwyn✭✭✭Yup the only vet stuff in the vet areas from Barrels etc is the Alchemy Material, the water, everything else seems to be specific to the zones original level.0

Try enchanting, it is exactly what happens there. One of the 3 runes being level specific, you have to grind (or buy) that one if you fall behind

Arwyn✭✭✭Problem with the low level ingredients is that they are specific to that race and you cant loot the low level recipes so they're even more useless it seems (unless there's someone with a decent cross faction guild store).
I have had no reply to my case yet since they said it was being investigated and I cant add more info to the case because support mails are not getting through at the moment (supports been spam blocked it seems)1 -

Yeah I noticed that too... kinda wierd indeed.. I 'did' get vet 1 level water bottles for alchemy though from crates and sacks so something must be up

some ingredients are only aviable by vendors! like Vet5 stuff.
A decent vendor is Gulza in Coldharbour 65,56 and she got a cooking fie right near by.

Every level has been able to have vendors for that areas level of materials, do you believe that this is by design that the only way you can get vet ones is the vendor unlike all the other levels?
Hope not but if it is by design it would still be nice to be told so by the GM/Dev team.
