To prevent gold spammer, it is a good idea to block money exchange between player? Do you really need money, guild bank and trading option is enough.

Really? So, when I want to help out my brother, or another guild member get a horse, respec, or buy a new piece of equipment I wouldn't be able to?

You sure you don't work for ZOS already? This line of thinking is right on par with theirs. Lets just screw over the many innocent in order to punish the few exploiters.

So your guild members cant make him armor? .. your brother cant craft items and then sell them in the guild bank to make money .. your friend / brother cant do quest to make money? .. its very easy to get coin in the game if you work for it..

Actually this is a good idea, especially being that one could help guildies or friends without just giving them money. The op mentioned nothing about item trade just gold and if you really want to give the other person everything you can, simply give them an item. I would much rather see that than the 20+ bots per dungeon since it seems that some of the simple solutions to stop this are not going to be used.

They would get around it. They would set up one of those guilds like you see like that GOLD AH one and then you would put up a Apple for 100k and they would buy it. This wouldn't stop it but would make it a little harder for them but I'm not in favour of punishing the people for a few individuals that chose to buy gold.

It would also make it easier for the GMs to track who is buying and who is selling.

I agree, limiting money transactions would help stop gold spam. If someone wants to help someone get a horse or whatever, buy it for them and give it to them. Or better, adventure with your friend and help him get his own loot and his own horse, that way he also gets to feel the sense of accomplishment. :)

Yeah! BUTCHER THIS *** TO STOP THEM! Burn it all down!

People need to seriously stop saying, "Just remove this" or "Take that out". This game is lacking a lot already without trying to cut its own arms off trying to stop people that aren't stoppable.

So I'll hope you never want to make a trade at any point during the life of the game, where money needs to change hands between you and a legitimate player? That's what you'd end up with.

Meh, OP has a good point and the follow ups of using Guild Stores to exchange money would limit the Bite scammers and Gold sellers to a Guild which can be more easily monitored.
